  • Dr Carlson on low carb eating Not a brilliant video but a useful summary of the standard myths and the kind of stuff I've been saying for a while now. Nice to hear someone else saying the same thing.

aww sue .. well yes u would be sad if there was nothing u could eat just a thought another time could u have had chicken or even the fish and picked off the batter?.. better still suggest somewhere else another time... dont worry u will get there, at first its hard to stick to your guns of what u want to eat but it gets easier as u realise that u have every right to ask for what u wwant not what they want to give u

daisy have u considered the nuts??... i never lose weight when i eat nuts (worse luck cos i love them)

my weight is now standing at 10st9 i cannot get back to 10st7 dont matter what i do (well suppose i could chop off an arm!!).... weirdly tho all my clothes are really loose on me so i can only assume all this extra exercise i have been doing means i have more muscle

elona hope u get back on the plan with yr turkey, i always feel worse when i go off plan which tends to deter me doing it

  • I've just had a very weird breakfast. But it was actually very enjoyable and I may well do it again!

1 pack silken tofu (the stuff you can keep in the cupboard)
    1 cup rice milk
    1 cup ground almond
    1/2 punnet raspberries
    Sugarfree crusha

... all whizzed up in the blender, it's like those petit-filous things! Or a bit like Instant Whip I suppose, but virtually carb-free, fat-free and with over 50g protein!!!

I'd suggest the above is probably enough for two - I'm stuffed now  May not eat again for some time...

i keep thinking about what im doing this time that i didnt last time and vice versa and really cant think of anything
however i did lose extremely slowly last time and not a huge amount in the grand scale of things - took me maybe 8 to 10 months to properly lose a stone with no more fluctuations
so maybe its going to be the same this time - im sure i could prolly go quicker but then i would be depriving myself and ''on a diet'' and id start obsessing
this way - its being good and a low carb WOE
i dont want to stop having milk in my tea or my wine at weekends and theres a price to pay i guess

when i come back im going to post a food diary for a week and would like construcive advice - not that im sure anyone on here would be anything other than constructive ;) - but would also like you to bear in mind my 'tweaks' :)

So drinking 1 pepsi is like eating 18 ears of corn?
