crackers - about 4g carbs each and i make sure to have lots of butter on them to keep them high fat to reduce the carb effect

Having lots of butter won't 'reduce the carb effect' hun :(

you exercise A LOT. remember that muscle weighs more than fat. do your clothes feel better?

Daisy a couple of weeks ago I reached a plateau and the weight just didnt seem to want to come off and boy was it dispiriting so I know how you feel. But as tough as it is you just have to grit your teeth and keep on going knowing that eventually if you are eating what you should eat it has to start falling off again.I'm going to send you a big (((((hug)))) cos I think you need it to get through this

aww daisy big hugs from me too hun i know how u feel tho..

u have lots of tweaks going on with crackers, fruit etc, maybe its a tweak too far? i tweaked so much that i actually gained so went back to basics which helped

as for the mirror well i look sometimes and feel i am HUGE...i do think tho that we have to make a mind change as well (easier said than done) cos we dont really see what other people are seeing and no matter what people say some days we will see a fat blob looking back

try cutting out the crackers as tinker says the fat wont counteract the carbs, also u said u dont eat MANY nuts, if i eat any it stalls me, then u have yr fruit and wine tweaks as well lol ... am sure the hard classes prob caused some water retention hence the gain it should even out over the next day or so with luck

big hugs u will get there u know u will, u did before and u will again
    xx

yup i know - just having a whinge really
1/2 a stone in a week ?? im just jealous - im lucky if i can lose half a pound in a week !! lol

Daisy, keep at it and the weight will come off. I've lost a lot in a week but I'm sure it was just water weight and a few too many hobnobs! Next week (and the weeks after that!) I won't lose anything. I know that I'll get frustrated and want to give up but we have to change our way of thinking. Think of the weight you've already lost and how good you look and feel now campared to how you used to be. Don't look forward too much, learn to enjoy how you are now. Give yourself small goals. Maybe if you do cut out the 'bad' things for a week or 2 you would notice a bigger loss? If you do, it will motivate you to keep only eating 'good' things!

I think I'll have to make that chocolate cake this week, it sounds fantastic!

Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Its Monday so its got to be weigh in day and I'm delighted this week as I've shifted another 4lbs .Only 3lb off my second stone now:D
Ravylesley - SNAP! I'm just 3lb off my 2nd stone and I lost 4lb this week - I started one week before you, though.

I have no real idea why I've lost more this week (usually 2lb), but I have been trying to drink more water. Also eating a few Brazil nuts each evening :o. The only thing I haven't had at all this week is egg, usually have 2 or three a week.

Going by the official BMI charts, I still need to lose 2 and a half stone to reach my "ideal" weight. But I will be happy if I lose just 1 more stone! I'm enjoying the food I eat now and if I had to cut back to lose more weight, I'm sure it would be a diet I couldn't sustain for long. So if I stall, I may tweak what I eat, but I'd rather be a happy size 12/14 than a miserable 10! (That's trouser size - I'm an inverted triangle shape - I will never be less than size 16 on top without radical surgery :rotfl:)

Ka7e I think my extra loss this week is down to loss of post period bloating
