yeah i know ted but the thought of throwing up didnt appeal much lol

aww thanks for te nice words gang

not sure what the IPD fake pizza is like but i like the cauli one and also theres one with eggs, cream and cheese think i posted it already?

birdie u should of seen the first microwave cake thing i tried u could of used it as a roof tile lol

    x

The IPD fake pizza is the one with eggs, cream cheese and more cheese. I think I was a bit heavy on the seasoning and I had no mozzarella (well, I did have a packet in the fridge but when I checked it it went out of date about 6 weeks ago!) so it probably went wrong because of that! I'm having a piece of it cold for lunch, it may taste better when it has solidified a little!

I haven't tried the microwave cakes and breads yet, I'm a little scared that it'll all explode and I'll ruin the microwave! LOL!

Will grab a chunk of cheese before I head off not an ideal breakfast but I'm busy and the best I can do at the moment

Its Friday and hubby is off work so its voddie and coke night here:D

I've been a good girl for weeks now and deserve the treat

Can anyone help with sundried tomatoes?

I bought a little pot of Waitrose Sun-ripened tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella salad from the deli (also contains pine nuts) as a treat, assuming it would be OK carb-wise.

I can't find this particular brand on Food Focus, but there are several other entries for sundried/sun-ripened tomatoes and they all seem to be between 6 and 15g carb per 100g, which is rather more than I thought.

Can anyone advise? Should I pick out the mozzarella only?

    Thank you!

The deli pots are difficult, HC. Anything dried has more sugar than the 'normal' version (eg apricots). Isn't there a carb level stated on the pot?

Takes me ages to do my shopping cos I'm reading the charts on everything! ;)

Hmmm... lesley hun, you keep sayng you're a good girl.... but I'm not convinced  :D Whereas I, on the other hand, am a total :A of course;)

Not much planned for the weekend, but the voddie and coke sounds good - since it's friday I might have a cheeky voddie and soda tonight if I can keep Mr Badger sweet:D

I have some smoked mackerel and salad for lunch today and tonight we're having this yummy low-carb pork shank affair from Asda, with leeks, bacon and mushrooms in cream... mmm can't wait!

Sue - have you finished chewing the compressed hamster bedding crispbread yet?:D

HC - I dont know which plan you're on but imo, I'd go easy on the sun-dried toms hun. Toms generally are quiet high and I assume the SD ones are more concentrated coz they are dried? Just my thoughts anyway xx

shykins - nice to have you back hun and I agree with daisy - your witterings are always much appreciated:D

Birdie hun - re culinary disasters - it would take too long to list them all - just ask Mr Badger:o :rotfl:
webbie and fiendishly - welcome to the [strike]madhouse[/strike] thread :hello:
If I don't manage to get back on here - have a great weekend everyone! :j

    Much love,

  • Eating MORE saturated fat leads to LESS total saturated fat in the blood? Huh?! I posted some info from Volek a while ago and here is another take on his research. Interesting to see a photo of the man behind the research, it comes as shock sometimes to see the real person behind the work. It's a pity so much of their work is wrapped up in terminology that is so difficult for the ordinary person to comprehend.

Still it will be some time before the importance of inflammatory markers is appreciated generally and people understand why I am as concerned about improving anti inflammatory status with D3 omega3 and magnesium as the flip side of reducing pro inflammatory input through a low carb diet.
