i'm genuinely not, but i really just don't understand what everyone's telling me. i don't have an ethernet cable from my PC to the modem! it's a usb thing. and what phone line?! i don't get it. the modem connects to a box in the wall or something. and when things say computer i don't know if they mean pc or laptop :S
Connect your computer directly to the modem, without the router. If you cannot access the Internet, contact your ISP. << laptop to modem, right? i did that once and it worked but now it's not. connected with ethernet??0 -

You have not listened to any advice that you have been given! Follow the instructions and it will work!
