    i'm genuinely not, but i really just don't understand what everyone's telling me. i don't have an ethernet cable from my PC to the modem! it's a usb thing. and what phone line?! i don't get it. the modem connects to a box in the wall or something. and when things say computer i don't know if they mean pc or laptop :S

    Connect your computer directly to the modem, without the router. If you cannot access the Internet, contact your ISP. << laptop to modem, right? i did that once and it worked but now it's not. connected with ethernet??

    You have not listened to any advice that you have been given! Follow the instructions and it will work!
