  • Hi there

I know I know Im totally rubbish at keeping up arent I?

Had a crap few weeks, which, long story boring has resulted in me being forced :( into raising a grievance at work. I have a meeting at 1100 tomorrow and am dreading it.

Well done to all the losers, and Im dead chuffed to report a 5lb loss :)

I totally agree with you on people who are overweight needing help psychologically , most people think its as simple as not eating as much but if it was just that then no-one would be overweight , i know when i feel the urge to binge its as strong as a alcoholic needs a drink , a drug addict needs drugs etc , but i think its a lot harder because you cant give up food totally like other addictions.

you asked what was wrong with my son , he has adhd and learning difficulties , hes 15 and was put on medication a year ago for it but is going through a refusel stage at the moment , i try to think his way when dealing with him but its really hard for example when he bit his 12 yr old sister just by siting next to her , i lost my temper as i just cant understand why anyone would do that but then i have to go back to he doesnt think that way to him thats a joke thing is hes the only one laughing.

    well done kymrob , victory , raphael , retiredlady & starlight:T :T :T

welcome back suggs pleased you got back in one piece :rotfl:

Exactly what I told my brother when he tried to argue that giving up smoking was harder than losing weight. He can completely avoid situations that involve cigarettes, I still need to eat!

The trick is working out what triggers the bingeing etc, once you know you can work towards 'contingency plans' :D

hi peeps 28 degrees it was here in spain last night at 11.30pm:eek: hot hot hot that is for sure no wonder there is no time to eat with all the water I have to drink to stay hydrated:rotfl: :rotfl: love the fish so much over here thinking of marrying a spanish fisherman so that he can bring me fresh fish home every night that would be heaven:rotfl: kids love it here, seen all my friends and having a blast it is such a treat to be out in shorts and t shirt and not have anyone think anything of it and that includes me it really is a whole new way of holidaying:D
with the euro being so lousy gainst the pound the cost of living holidaying has soared, it is really noticeable how much evberything has gone up, ice creams drinks out, the whole lot has had a whack of euros put on it so money has to be daily worked out now so as to not run out
hope all goes well with the weigh ins and sts etc thinking of you all be back in 2 weeks so will keep posting for the chart from over;)
