    well done kymrob!

Boring day today! Matt got in at half 12 then up again at 7 to go to work again! So i was up early to take him to work and be a nice girlfriend :D

Ive coloured my hair this morning, gone a bit lighter because im going to go brown when it comes to autumn time and thought i'll have the last whirl of being blonde for awhile! Then im going to crack on with some dissertation work, only a few hours to make me feel better then its on with some hardcore olympics watching!

Wow to the hunky male swimmers, and the rowers. Im just glad i still get to see a bit of james cracknell action!

have a nice sunday everyone, even though its only me here!

Vix you are not alone (well just for a little bit - off shopping soon). Talking about fit men in the Olympics did you see the gymnastics? Corrrrr! Usually I don't like muscly men (well that's what I tell OH bless him) but some of those blokes were loooooooovely! I have officially become a leacherous old woman!

Im sitting here on a saturday night with a cup of tea watching the olympics i recorded before i went to work on sky plus! How sad for a girl of 21! brother is in the lake district, mum and dad are at bingo and matty is on some special op tonight because of the carnival. It is quite nice though :D

I was supposed to go out last night but everyone else canceled. I stayed in with a bottle of red and watched Braveheart & chatted to my friend online. I really enjoyed it haha it was a nice chilled night.
And I kept thinking that I'd saved myself £30. I'm planning on paying off my last loan on friday, now I have enough :D just the credit card left :D

I've not been watching the olympics, I did see the opening ceremony on youtube and wow!! Impressed!

I bought new scales yesterday. £16.99 from lidls! Body fat/water etc ones too!! I've had a little whirl and they are more accurate than my old ones, but not as accurate as the gyms. But close enough :D I'm not sure if the body fat % is accurate thou, it keeps reading me as around 30/31 % The last time I had a review it was 38.6% so 30 seems a bit low. But I guess I'll see at my next review.

Well just come back from shopping and as I can't lift anything (doc's orders honest!) all I had to do was point and say how many and my minions ran and got it for me! OH was my driver and the three youngest were my runners (eldest out meeting his girlfriend's parents:eek:). I wonder how long this will last........

I've got a pair of scales that tell me my fat% and water % too. My water % is always about 40% no matter how much I drink and the booklet that comes with it says that's too low. I suppose it stands to reason that the more fat I lose the more the water % will rise.
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!
  • I've just got back from my last big shop for a while. Also, I am due for a 'mini op' on my right arm on Friday, so like you Tagz, won't be lifting much for a few days - won't be able to drive, ride my bike, write ....

My scales usually show me as 54/55 % water, yesterday I was 53% which is the lowest I've been for ages. My body fat has recently been around the 20% mark, but is currently up at 23% which is good for me 'cos it means I've just got into the healthy range (for my age).

My fat percentage wasnt even on the scale when i got lied to by that machine in boots :p haha, ok it might have been truthful but to be off the scale? perhaps my clothes were extremely heavy or something ha.

I missed the gymnastics tagz, damn it! Although theyre normally too short to be attractive, swimmers are always nigh on 6ft or more so much more attractive (apart from their faces, dont bother with that!)

meeting the girlfriends parents eh!! i cant wait for my when i have some kids to bring home girl and boyfriends, i'll be that embarassing parent i know it! so lush.

Tagz, I'd never noticed that, but you are right. The total of water and body fat as a percentage is around the 76% mark and has been since I got my new scales at Christmas. As the body fat dropped, the body water rose.

  • Thanks Tagz, no nothing too bad, it should all be working again after a few days. I'm only out of action whilst the wound heals.
