    Hi all

Thanks for the chart BB. Well done Delly and KPC. :T Delly's lost her SOTW virginity... woohoo!! :D

Laine - your post brought tears to my eyes, thank you for sharing with us. I often think that people who are overweight should be offered some form of psychological help or support rather than being lectured about eating less and exercising more, because I don't think the whole body image and self esteem issues are properly taken into account. This is a breakthrough for you, as BB says, so keep that thought in your mind, and remind yourself of it everytime you feel yourself going back into the negative thoughts you used to have. (((hugs)))

I've just discovered something about SW that I never knew and I'm not sure if it's something that's changed since last time I did it, or if it was just something I never realised. I love stilton, and have it as a HEa, but today I was trying out the food diary on the SW website, and couldn't find stilton in the list, so I checked in the book, and found that it's a HEa on green days, but not on red!

    I wonder why...?

If it's blue stilton it might look quite sophisticated with green .... but may be just a little garish on red.

Well done everyone lets keep the momentum going.

As yu allknow I've had a rough week healthwise but I was so desperate to get out of the house today that I persuaded OH to take me just for weigh in and talk at Rosemary Conley class, which he did reluctantly. Amazed to say that I lost a whopping 10lbs yes double figures!! I know that my illness will mean this is not a "true" loss but I will try and keep to it so for this week can we show it as a STS and next week should be a true loss once I am better (I hope)

Um, ok Granny, without wishing to sound like a real prat, I'll try and explain - the reporting was something I needed to do in order to write my book (still haven't been able to do it due to illness, hence being a bit cagey) about the place I spent my gap year (some of you might remember where that is). We were talking about the best equipment I could take to be able to record discreetly and, if caught, try and explain it away as usual tourist paraphernalia. They thought I was mad!! (the crazy thing I was referring to was driving all that way, not the trip itself :rotfl:Doh!)
Fitorbust, he is very nice (as is Mark, his expedition buddy also on the shows) in that he was more than happy to meet up with me, especially as it was the day before they flew out for the North Pole series (if you saw that?) and were meant to be pulling tractor tyres across the sand! He's very short, the same height as me if not a teeny bit smaller (I'm 5ft 4!). I was 'invited back for the night' but declined ;)

Congratulations Delly, fantastic achievement and well deserved after your recent struggles! And you too KPC! Well done to everyone, and especially to the people with illnesses.
Thanks for sharing your story Laine and helping yourself to recognise how far you've come and why you're doing it. Can I ask what problems your son has (sorry I can't remember)?
Thanks for the chart BB, your hard work is appreciated. Might I nominate someone I know for a belated SOTW? Care to step forward person in question?...
