youngbean, your exercise plan looks good, but don't use it to beat yourself up if you can't keep up with it. Very unusual day for me, been out and done some shopping! Went out with my fried who is a couple of weeks off giving birth. We had a lovely time at the local outlet place and i bought lots of lovely books, including the Eat Britain! book by Andrew Wheeler who is such a great writer. He maintains that vegetarians are people who eat meat in secret because meat is so delcious he can't believe any would not eat it. V amusing! Don't dare read it right now though as it makes you very hungry. Was very good at lunch and had a tomato and roasted garlic pasta with no cheese on it. Which is just as well because we had a dvd session last night and i had to drink a bottle of wine which meant being ambushed by toast. Well, we'd watched The Mummy, and order to watch the The Mummy Returns I HAD to drink the wine because I couldn't face it sober. The next one out in August looks great which will make up for the poorness of hte second one i hope!0

Katie- I know EXACTLY what you mean. I am rather worried that I wont be able to keep it up. Cos I know that I need to get the exercise in to help with my weight loss, and to get fit as well.
This week has been rather mental, last 7 days have been:
Sunday: Swimming
Monday: Swimming
Tuesday: Power walking + jogging
Wednesday: Aqua aerobics + swimming
Thursday: 1st session of Tae Kwon Do
Friday: REST!!! haha
I know I wont be able to keep this up every week, money wont allow it! But what I put down before, I hope I can keep to it.
I am at my mum and dads now, I have a sneeking suspicion that we are watching the last Doctor Who tonightso that should be fun!
Hope everyone else is having a good weekend??

Does anyone have any tips to stop me craving chocolate - I've been 6 weeks without any - then went mad Thursday/Friday - I know if I don't buy it I'm fine - but once I've bought it I eat it. Now I'm worried that as I've started eating chocolate again I won't be able to stop and will stuff up the weight I've been losing0

Fred, usually cravings ask for a taste of something rather than a load of something. My advice would be have it but by no means keep it in the house. When you crave it, go and get a single item, maybe a small Freddo Frog or a Milky Way or something like that... whatever can do the least damage. Whatever you do, don't eat it until you've sat back down at home. You'll enjoy it and will probably think "Ooh, that was nice - I could have another three of those." Chances are though that you can't be bothered to get back out of your seat.
Everyone's happy, craving is satisfied and the minimum damage has been done.0 -

I'm thinking of buing an 'easiyo' (non elec yogurt maker) as we get through so much these days I'd I've found one reduced by a 3rd. Anyone any experience with it, or general tips for low fat yogurt making. I'd like to see if I can come up with a HM low synned toffee version too, to replace the toffee muller lites which are pricy. Any suggestions welcome.
Hi BB
I bought one of these from Lakeland http://www.lakeland.co.uk/electric-yoghurt-maker/F/keyword/yoghurt/product/3440_3441
I guess it is a bit pricey, but I have never had a duff batch.
To make the yoghurt you add 2 teaspoons of live natural yoghurt to the pot, 2 tablespoons of dried milk (to make it thickish) and then 900ml of UHT milk. Turn the yoghurt maker on and then 8 hours later perfect yoghurt.
Use 2 teaspoons from the previous batch to make the next.
I occasionally buy a 50p live natural yoghurt from the supermarket to kick start my batches and then the only on-going cost is the 44p/litre of UHT milk. The UHT milk is skimmed and is only 35 cals per litre, 0.3% fat. I buy mine from Lidl because it has a little plastic pouring spout, the ones from Sainsburys and Tesco are just cartons and no matter how I cut the spout it seems to pour out in every direction except the one I want
I must have saved so much money since I bought this, my little monkeys take their yoghurt to school in these http://www.lakeland.co.uk/thermos!REG-'snak-jar'/F/keyword/thermos/product/11459_10567 so I no longer spend £3 per week (minimum) in Frube type yoghurts.
OH now likes yoghurt as a 'snack', he likes the taste and texture of this yoghurt, previously he steered well clear of yoghurt type desserts.
We add icecream sauces such as toffee, maple syrup, strawberry etc for flavoured versions.
Happy yoghurt making.

Brighton Belle,
丸 ("maru") means "circle" or "round" in Japanese. There is no double r in the Japanese alphabet which was one of the reasons I suspected it was not Japanese when I first saw it (OH later confirmed it was not).
Sea is 海 ("umi").
What does the name mean in Finnish?"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -

Ajax's advice is very sound. I have been known to sit and eat a huge box of chocolates until I feel totally sick. I'll then have a cup of tea to 'wash it down' and then carry on. I won't be satisfied until the box is gone.
The only way I can be sure that I won't totally 'pig out' is not to have stacks in the house. I'm okay if it is Cadbury's 'cos I don't really like it.
Total exclusion of chocolate from your diet is likely to lead to similar 'events'.

oooooh ajax, hit a nerve? do you secretly eat fray bentos pies straight from the tin? here's a non meaty extract then about how americans call scones 'biscuits' . . .
'This is perhaps the most heretical act of culural piracy ever committed . . . American biscuits are not served with cream and jam. They are served with a horrific meat dripping that looks as if it should be wiped up by a nurse. I think it's safe to say they have lost that culture war'
