Not having a great week this time, just seem to be constantly hungry so I will expect a gain next wi, however next week I'm on a course all week for the voluntary job I start in September so that should help even things out as there is no chance to snack.
lemondrop, Ryan has never been expected to walk but he wants to so much that I am sure he will one day but it's going to take a minimum of 2 years physio (that's the consultant's prediction) to get his muscles working properly but as far as I'm concerned everything that he can currently do is a huge bonus so who knows what he'll be capable of in the future.
Have a great weekend everyone, good luck fitorbust xx0 -

I'm thinking of buing an 'easiyo' (non elec yogurt maker) as we get through so much these days I'd I've found one reduced by a 3rd. Anyone any experience with it, or general tips for low fat yogurt making. I'd like to see if I can come up with a HM low synned toffee version too, to replace the toffee muller lites which are pricy. Any suggestions welcome.
Went mini muffin tin hunting yesterday kpc - only silicon one I could find was £15 for 24. (Tip for getting it in and out of oven - put it on a baking tray). Came home to think about it. Did buy a 2nd 2lb loaf tin so I can bulk cook cakes and freeze.
Tour de france starts today - missyg, I was over the moon to discover phil and garry Imlach are commentation on itv4: felt like I had come home:rotfl: .
Being treated to lunch by a friend and then time for a DR who fest this afternoon me thinks so it is safe to read the forum again:D .
PLG - my Dad believes he was originally told, back in 1970ish that marru meant 'sea' in japanese. We have now found the boat name is Finnish thanks to great work by missyg (), but I'd be interested in confirming the non japanese connection.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Hey all!! I have food in my cupboards now!! Just had an asda delivery and I'm sure it's not right. I'm sure I only ordered 1 pineapple not 2! And I have a bag marked substitutes thats has a joint of lamb and a box of battered fish that I didn't order, but can't see what they've swapped it for. I suspect it's someone else's bag!!
Anyway it's safe in my freezer. I'll look after it:rotfl:

I have an easiyo and I love it, if you have a Julian Graves locally keep your eyes peeled for their half price or "clearance" weekends I use them to stock up on easiyo mix. Other times I make my own with live natural yoghurt (there's a thread somewhere on here that tells you how).
For silicone bakeware keep your eyes open for Lidl & Aldi who sell them every so often much cheaper than anywhere else. The one B-I has posted looks good too.Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0 -
:jHi everyone - thanks for all the well wishes....I'm looking out of the window at the pouring rain and hoping it is better tomorrow!!
I'll have to send a message to my 2 best friends up in heaven to try and make the weather better - they're the reason I do this thing anyway so the least they could do is make the sun shine. :A :A :A
Someone was asking about Aldi - I go about once a month and their continental cheeses and meats are really good, as is their unsalted butter (for special occasions of course!!). They also do really cheap cream crackers that are good, as are their oatcakes. There are often fitness things in the middle odds and ends section. You have to have root, but it can be good.
Had a lovely day in Edinburgh after the train died at Newcastle and had to get on another train.... We had lunch at Martin Wishart, a michelin starred restaurant on the quay side at Leith. My friend is a real foodie! At least you don't get a lot of calories as the portions are trendily small. It was lovely but I have a strange thing that seems to happen to me after eating in these places (not name dropping but it has also happened to me after Gordon Ramsay's at Claridges), but I get montezumas (SP?) revenge within 2 hours....  . We discussed it on the train home (between visits to the loo:o) and I think as we eat so healthily the rest of the time the concentration of the sauces and richness of the food is just too much for my system!!
I bought some sequinned Fitflops at Harvey Nics and am in love already as they are so comfy. I don't feel that they are quite as effective as the MBTs but an excellent option for the summer.:T :T
I am trying out this widget link for my Race for life page just to see if it works..... (It didn't)

hi, Its my SW weigh in today and I weigh 12st 13lb. That is 15lb less than when I originally started so I know I can do it despite the meds.
I did get down to 12st 10lb about the middle of May but as soon as I was without my MSE encouragement I really lost the plot.
So thank you all for being there for me. If I lost my first stone with you I can lose another.
My WW friend is going to weigh me every week too, probably Wednesday but her scales are different to mine, but hopefully it will be extra encouragement to continue with my weight loss.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Afternoon everyone!!
Hope that everyone is having a good weekend? The weather is pants here at the folks in Notts, but hopefully it nice and sunny elsewhere??
Im slowly recovering from Tae Kwon Do on Thursday, I'm aching all over!! Im in some physical pain here
It is worth it though, I burnt 772 calories in the 90 minute session!!
PoohBear- I know what you mean about having that extra encouragement. Although I can come on here and talk openly with everyone. I also have my friend at work, who is my rock at the moment. She makes sure that I am staying on the right track, and even comes and does alot of the exercises with me
Talking of which, I have decided on an exercise plan
Monday- Power walking/ jogging in Esholt woods
Tuesday- Rest
Wednesday- Aqua aerobics and swimming
Thursday- Tae Kwon Do
Friday- Rest
What do people think??
I was looking at Pilates or Yoga aswell- to try and get a little more flexible0
