    hey guys,

Work was really tough today, and it was a 9-7 not a 9-6 day as i thought as i saw the rota at half 9. Grrrrr.

Im also tired and i have rashes all over the place. Im an itching mess :(

I dont really have much to say for a change. I did eat the jumbo battered sausage, chips with wine and coke. Boy was it good! But when you miss lunch than the calories are halved right?

Have a good rest of the weekend, im off to bed soon so that im ready for a hardcore day tomorrow preparing for our mini holiday.

    ciao guys.

Does anyone have any tips to stop me craving chocolate - I've been 6 weeks without any - then went mad Thursday/Friday - I know if I don't buy it I'm fine - but once I've bought it I eat it. Now I'm worried that as I've started eating chocolate again I won't be able to stop and will stuff up the weight I've been losing

My suggestion would be to buy a big bar of choc, break it up and put it in the freezer.
When you have a craving take out 1 square & let it melt slowly in your mouth. :D

oooooh ajax, hit a nerve? do you secretly eat fray bentos pies straight from the tin? here's a non meaty extract then about how americans call scones 'biscuits' . . .

'This is perhaps the most heretical act of culural piracy ever committed . . . American biscuits are not served with cream and jam. They are served with a horrific meat dripping that looks as if it should be wiped up by a nurse. I think it's safe to say they have lost that culture war'

OMG, I discovered the 'biscuits' when I went to Florida once for xmas. They were sold at a Maccy D's as a side. They are like thin salty cheese scones, no dripping with mine. I loved them!! And luckily for me my family didn't!!! :D

morning all, well I finally did it - got back on my wii fit after a long absence (about a week after they came out!!) and I have put on 11lb. I knew I had put some weight on, but 11lb!!!
I have even been fairly good, but have eaten fruit like theres no tomorrow, maybe the sugar could have something to do with it, or maybe it was the steroid inhaler I was given for the asthma type chest infection I had. anyhow Im so fed up I am even considering the cambridg diet - my friends doing well on it. Anyhow Ill have a think about it. Take care all, have a good sunday

    .. just a touch :)

....I think I'd probably have an innocent chuckle at this if your author friend hadn't wound me right up, but as he has then I'm gonna defend the right of any people to call something whatever they darn well want.:p What business is it of his? Just cos the Americans mostly use our language doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to adapt it as they see fit.

... I think it's safe to say he's won the One-Eyed Arrogant Numpty Of The Year war!!! In my book anyone can put whatever they want on whatever they want as long as they like it. The day someone tries to force him to eat strawberry curry is the day he should have the platform to moan about it.

He probably writes this drivel while he tucks into his oh-so-culturally authentic chicken tikka masala!

....that's it kpc you show Andrew blinking Wheeler that it's none of his business what goes with what unless it's on his plate. ;)

......argh Raph!!! Willpower needed! Reminds me of the One Foot In The Grave when Victor is bored in the house and lamenting the previous day where he ate a whole half pound block of Dairy Milk. "I'm never doing THAT again" he says, then goes to get a half pound block of Dairy Milk out of the fridge. :D

Bargain Babe, sorry to hear of the gain, but why not see if it is your medication before doing anything drastic? Anything based on "the excellent weight loss properties of starvation" (their words, not mine) has to be a last resort, especially when products cost an arm and a leg? After all... you can starve yourself and drink water for free if you wanted to. I'm sure it works well... after all, starving is great for weight loss, it isn't rocket science is it?

Fitorbust. Best of luck for the race today! Hope it's not too wet. Sorry for posting late it's just that it's my son's 18th today and I've been flying around the house like a blue bummed fly.
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Hi everyone. Sounds like lots of people are doing really well.

I'm going to 'join' this thread as the weight has been creeping up recently. I managed to hold it for a while when I was attending RC classes but decided it was costing too much alongside my gym membership, and that going to the gym should be enough.

As its worked out I've neither been going to the gym nor keeping to low fat cooking (though I do 'old style') so I'm about 5lb up and very unfit again.
So... today is my last day and then it's back to healthy (can't do today as I'm making pasties and I've defrosted the meat etc!)

It's no good making the excuse that I'm too busy either... being unfit just makes me do less. I bought some scales that measure body fat so will get on those tomorrow (if I can remember how they work) and I'm going to shop for healthy eating (RC quick start) today. And I've been asked to go skiing at the SnoDome tonight so might do that too (though house is a tip again so depends on how far I get).

And I'm going to limit the time I spend reading MSE too!! (no more till 9pm tonight!)
