    Hi everyone

Can I join you's now please??

I've read all 70 pages, I've looked at all the links and it's taken me since December 2007 to join

I've so much to lose, but today I finally plucked up the courage to join WW's at the classes, I'm going to a step aerobics class twice a week with my aunt and mum, so I've good support. Would like to definately lose 7lb by the time I go to Disney in 6 weeks which should hopefully be do-able

Oh and Victory for you, only this once though hehe

  • hiya cathie, looks like you'll fit right in.

love the rant from fitorbust there. struck more than a few chords.

Don't forget folks, only another couple of days to get your name down to participate in the swapbox. Simply pm me your real name and address and sometime next week you'll receive the real name and address of another member of the thread. You then have a budget of £6.50 to buy them a present - I'll start a couple of q&a questions to help us all. There will be a posting deadline and then on the designated day we all open our pressies! It's up to you if you want to identify yourself or not.

ffm you made me laugh I did exactly that one xmas, spent ages choosing my own presents, wrappig them up and when it came to xmas day, yeah I got everything I wanted:j :j never did it again though because I never managed to surprise myself:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It is all good today, all forgotten and done and in the grand scheme of things I saved him heaps of money and now he has one day left on the bathroom before the lino man comes tomorrow so he feels that there is an end in sight and he is pulling out all the stops to get it done. I am the cleaner behind him as there is so much dust, mess etc it looks like a building site:rolleyes:

To make up for it I am cooking him a carvery at home, bought the cooked turkey slices thick ones from the butchers, will make the WW gravy he likes and make a home cooked fuss dinner for his last night in that bathroom:rotfl: :D

    Morning all

Sorry for not posting more, I've had a few busy days. Sorry to hear about those who are having a bad time at the moment.

Thanks for the chart Efriese - I'll pm you my email address so you can send me it and I'll take it over for September. I will need to hand it on to someone else in October, because I'm not going to be around for most of it! :) We're spending a few days with friends down in Devon w/c 6th, then flying off to Cyprus for two weeks on 11th, and on our return my DD and granddaughter are coming to stay for half term! :D

Had to laugh at Lesley's public information announcements! I've tried dropping hints to DH about presents but he never picks up on them. I know I'm difficult to buy for and I'd rather go shopping with him to avoid the trial of trying to look pleased with something I didn't want!

    Have a good day.

    hello there,
I think the time has come for me to lose weight , actually it arrived some time ago. This time I really am going to do something about it. How do I join this group of supportive people here? I think this is going to work for me

  • Hi everyone :hello: ,

I'd very much like to join up. I've been keeping a detailed food diary for a couple of months now. I highlight foods that I should be having in moderation in red, and highlight the healthy foods in green. Sadly, the red FAR outweighs the green, and I really need to address this. The good news is that my weight hasn't increased since I've been keeping the diary, so even if I make small changes, it might make an impact. I shall pop along with any weight changes next week. I notice the chart is posted on a Wednesday evening - is there a deadline for the info to be provided - is Wednesday morning too late, for instance?

Best wishes to all - I may not be a frequent poster, but will certainly be around for the long haul.

    rumbly x
  • Hi everyone,

Thanks for the good wishes. I've been keeping myself busy the past few days and the diet has gone completely off track.

Yes, bails there's been lots of scrabble.. (not complaining at all) and I've also been trying to catch up on the last 2 series of Heros so that when the next series starts OH and I will watch it together.

I've had a meltdown on Tuesday and OH and I talked stuff out, but I'm still waiting on the appointment to Relate.

Home on my lunch hour at the mo, will check in again later.
