Well done Missy Victory and Raph!

I won't post my weight until Wed but I'm sure I've put on about 2lbs! I'll have to stop thinking about those Cornish cream teas or I'll fall off track and have no will power to get back up back!
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!
  • Raph - getting to 12 stone something is a huge achievement!!!!
Well done missy - it's almost worth putting on weight on hols to see it drop off after isn't it:D
Victory - so so pleased to hear you won your son's school place - practically unheard of to win one of these appeals:T .

Peeps, i am sooo excited: I have finally, after much dithering ordered a remoska. Very big financial outlay but it should pay for itself in time. I now need to freecycle my popcornmaker - in with one gadget, out with an unused one. I think the george forman grill might go soon too - it was great for a few years, but I no longer grill chops as I no longer buy them - use cheaper cuts of meat.
Just baked my birthday cakes for saturday: near disaster - all in pans and just putting them in the oven when I noticed the unopened pack of butter on the counter:eek: . Had to scrape 2 cakes tins of dollop back into the mixing bowl to add butter. This of course meant I had to [STRIKE]lick [/STRIKE]scrape the mixing bowl out twice. Shame:D .
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Second that!
    I also second that.
I am so sorry to hear about your problems Delly - I too am not an advice giver but am sending a big cyberhug.....:grouphug:
Good news from all the losers - I am a bit worried about my weigh in this week as I have taken my eye off the ball a bit this week - I will face the music on wed am - I am impressed with your weight loss Delly - just a massive shame it is the heartbreak diet.
Tagz - your comment about Elvis looking through the window really amused me :rotfl: .
Well - I have encouraged my OH into a midlife crisis car.:D
Miraculously after a massive remodel of our house we had some money left over(!!??!!) so OH was all set to be a good moneysaver and put it back into the (scary) mortgage. I suggested that he spend it on something frivolous, he is not a guy to do that sort of thing, so he deserves it!
After a few weeks of ecstatic research on his part, we went to look at a Lotus Elise as a bench mark - no intention of buying at all - and bought it!!
In a weird way the economic downturn has helped as prices in the classic car market seem to be tumbling. I suppose it is a moment of madness, and I can try to justify it any which way, but he has the most stupid smile on his face this weekend after we picked it up on Saturday, and the good weather I ordered has arrived so we are racing around like teenagers in a silly red sports car!

Off we go to his parents in Lincolnshire later - we are just East of York so he will have a good run out!

Hope everyone is having a good Bank Holiday weekend, and those that need the hugs are getting them.

Hello Everyone - I am back from my Amsterdam vacation. Had a great time as usual and put on 7 pounds - as usual!!:p:o I will be going back to basics and be ever such a good girl this week and hopefully will manage to take off most of it this week!

I have manged to more or less read most of the postings since I left - there have been loads - way too many to comment on! I did want to tell Delly how very sorry I was to hear about the terrible time you have been having. I do hope things will get better for you soon, however I fear these things take a long time to get over:(. You have some very good friends and supporters on here and hopefully that will make the journey a little less rocky! A problem shared and all that..

    Love to all

How has the slagbag taken the news? I'd love to give her a ........piece of my mind (I'm trying to be restrained!).
    .

Tagz I have no idea how she's taken the news. What I do know is that she expected me to ask him to break off contact with her, and of course the "noble" text message that was sent. OH and I agreed that after Saturday night's meltdown we'd agree never to speak of her again. Of course, she still has Oh's e-mail address and may have been in touch but I don't know, and she does post on the gaming forums that my OH posts on.

The emotion for the day today is anger - I was feeling like I'd been a pushover for the past couple of days and that he was acting I should be grateful that he's here at all.

We did talk it out this morning and I told him how I was feeling - that he wasn't as physical with me as he used to be and that he didn't use my name for the past 3 days or tell me that he loved me or that he was sorry or happy to be at home with a fresh start. He said that he hasn't been hugging me etc as much as he wants to as he's afraid I'll push him away.

Anyway, long and short is, he's still hurting from losing the "relationship" with the other woman:rolleyes: and we're still taking things slowly but that he has to TALK to me.

At least the scrabble is good!;)
