Delly - I've only just read the posts of the last few days so didn't know about all this.
It sounds as if you're handling a really difficult situation amazingly well. I hope your OH will realise soon what a wonderful person you are, taking such a positive and calm approach. As for the romance not being there for him ( I think that's a paraphrase of what you wrote) I've been married for 35 years next month and about 34 and a half of those have been romance-free. I know this isn't truefor everyone but I think it's friendship and the hugs that last best, and you had a good basis there as you say you were friends for a year before you made a decision to take things further.
Hope you get lots of triple word scores in the scrabble.0 -
im not through all the posts yet, but i think i meant 49 BB!!
Ive had a crap bank holiday. Been away from matty and working insteadall crap. Although i did meet matt for lunch and we went for a nandos and then a mr whippy! I was taking ages on my breaks and lunches, reckon i had another hours worth of breaks in all ha, woo hoo to management being off!
Had a look at disney brochures, got a quite for about £800 + £900 for 4 days. Roughly what it was to go to paris last year minus disney. I wouldnt mind it a bit cheaper that though, might head off to the travel bit and see if anyone can do cheaper (probably not!)
Im off into town with the mother in law and the grandmas. Im looking forward to it in a weird way (am i normal??)0 -
fitorbust - good on you and your husband, money is for spending!! I wonder how cheap fiat 500's are (my life dream is to own one!)
Marion - food is for eating! ha. Glad amersterdam was good.
bb - i shall be making matty a birthday cake. No one will eat it, and it will look like the remains of a pigs troff but at least he can blow out the candles.0 -
aw delly. I tell you your husband is one lucky man to still have you there when he wakes up in the morning. I feel like going over there and telling him! To me he doesnt realise what he has got, loads of blokes would kill to be in his situation. As for still being hurt, i mean come on. He needs to grow a back bone.
I know people here are blaming the woman but i just feel sorry for the poor cow, how she can sleep at night knowing the damage she has caused i'll never know. She must have something loose in that brain of hers.
Hugs coming your way xx0 -

Evening all
Good to see the thread is getting busy again, plenty of posts to catch up on.
Delly - thanks for keeping us up to date, and well done for staying strong, and for losing 5lbs.
Victory - great news about the appeal :T
Fitorbust - I wish my OH's mid life crisis had been a sports car instead of a motorbike, I might have appreciated it more! Enjoy!
BB - sorry to mock the early onset of senility, but had to laugh at the butterless cakes! You're obviously a bung-it cook, like my mother in law who once made a trifle and forgot to put the sugar in the custard. No-one could work out why it didn't taste right.
Well done everyone who's lost weight. :j
Have a good week.

Fit or bust : I thought that was a wonderful gesture to your husband and warmed the cockles of my heart:T .
Not suprised anger has made an appearance delly. Glad at least scrabble is on the menu.
Good to have you back marion. Sounds like you had an excellent time and that 7lbs will go with your customary focus:T .
Vix - it's the cake gesture that counts.
