Got one this afternoon to eat tomorrow, and finally got the butternut squash lasagne I had wanted for weeks. Can't wait for that. We picked up the red wine, although having read the back of it I don't like the sound of 'hints of tobacco'. Please someone tell me it doesn't taste like an ash tray!

    ** 20% Off Thursday **
Bought a £10 meal deal yesterday and really expected it to go through as £8 considering ALL the signs on display stating 20% reductions on everything (including wine)!! Anyone else thought about this?

They stated in their small print that it excluded food and some cava, probably only had a * somewhere on their advertising to get away with it

I got two gammons (in freezer for xmas) with the free chopping board.

A mash & a med veg (I prefer the salads).

A chocolate pudding & an apple pie.

    Two boxes of chocolates.

whats the customer services like? I'm a bit peeved that I'm stuck with 3 bottles of wine when I don't drink when others have got chocolates. Do you think if I phoned & complained they'd let me exchange?

Got 2 litres of Fresh orange Juice instead of wine.
Trouble is the prices are not on the Products, you could end up with 4 x £2.50 or £2.99 items for your £10, and considering the M &S prices are expensive, this aint the Great Deal that some people are Claiming!

I phoned them yesterday re: only advertising small chickens on the meal deal even though web site says medium.. TBH the lad sounded bored on the phone, said this was a new service and was having a few hickups with it.. he went on to say we welcome your feed back and will pass on to the relevant store:rolleyes: think he was reading from a script ,,, oh well i got it of my chest

I think you should ask in store I did & they brought the chocolates out but if i hadn't of asked they were not on display.. think the staff are keeping the chickens & chocs behind the counter or store room for later on ;)
