Just saw this and am thinking of surprising the wife for tea tomorrow.
Have we got any wine buffs as she is into rose, but likes it quite sweet.
What would be my best bet?
Thanks in advance.0 -

I picked up the Chardonnay Rose instead of the white yesterday in error (doh... the fact it had pink on the lid and on the bottle didn't even make me stop and think  !!!)
It was a sweeter wine than I would normally go for but it was actually really quite nice - had a slight fizz to it as well.
p.s. I am not a wine buff so someone else may be along in a moment to suggest another one!!0 -
That's good to know....... I'll be at my local store every Friday then!!

A Bargain is only a bargain if you need it!0 -
Do the stores get a bulk delivery for thursday morning, and when its gone its gone, or do they get new deliveries throughout the weekend, does anyone know?0
-
Again? Oh this sounds yummier than last time, I am tempted...
There is only one of me though
Lucky you, "one can dine for £10 for 2 nights":D
I got three deals.
A pizza, a lasagne (I NEVER buy shop lasagnes, it better be good) & the prawn & pasta dish.
2 bowls of salad (we love these:j ) & a ciabatta.
Sticky toffee, melt in the middle pudding & the profitta rolls.
2 bottles of the pink fizzy wine (put away for xmas - as we don't really drink) & the twin pack of juice, we love their OJ:D0 -

I'm not a wine buff, but I do like a sweet Rose. They only had the one to choose from with the deal and it had a 3 sweetness rating, which is ok, anything less I don't like.0 -
Vix 2000, most stores get at least one delivery except Sun. Some stores get Sunday deliveries as well.0

I went in today, plenty of choice on everything but desserts - but they said you get a £5 voucher to let you choose another dessert. That sounded fine, so I went through the till with 4 deals (minus desserts) - but I was charged full price for it all (£58) rather than the £40 it should have been with the desserts. Apparently this is head office instruction - but a few people were complaining. Anyone else found this? or maybe not even realised if you got it with other things?0
