just a thing, beware the normal lamb moussaka. i bought some the other week, and the lamb is sort of powdery in texture,. it is not lamb mince, its sort of lamb 'dust!'---was v disappointed cos i love moussaka, and being m and s thought it might be nice.

    Hi,

I also got this Moussaka.........& I LUUVVVV Moussaka but it was very wierd  I bought 2 x deals so 2 moussaka's & the kids wouldn't eat it nor would the dog! (lol) Ended up in the bin!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Be careful with this one. Some of the items like the lasagne and the pizza are priced on the offer shelves at a higher price £5 something.

If you look on the shelves where they would normally be found they are actually cheaper, they have £1 off. But the ones in the £10 offer go through at the higher price, so not actually as big a saving as you think.

why not make the Dine for Two a sticky, since it is going to be every two weeks (i asked member of staff), then someone can post what's on the offer when it appears on website.

good choice of food this morning and plenty at my local store. Problem is deciding what to have ;)

When I was in store today picking up my £10 meal deal a friend who works there told us that the M&S two dine for £10 offer will be running every fortnight until Christmas:beer:.

In the week between selected food will be half price (as it was last week).

So the dine for £10 offer will be on:

    9 - 12 October
    23 - 26 October

    6 - 9 November
    20 - 23 November

    11 - 14 December

Not sure whether they'll be running one over Christmas & boxing day itself yet. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Just eaten the Beef in chianti and it was delicious!

Quite enjoyed the profiteroles too :D

OH was very impressed with my shopping trip!
  • Picked up lasagna al forno, garlic ciabatta and profiteroles this afternoon. The lasagna was lovely and very filling, and the ciabatta was the nicest i've had. Yum! :D

I picked up the beef, it was a really good size. Looks really tasty and had a good date on it too. Will save it for over the weekend or early next week.

Also picked up the Chicken Saltimboca too as that was a good sized portion.

The profiteroles will probably last us a few days and the Rose wine was in a really pretty bottle so I picked up two of those and am saving them for Christmas pressies.

Other than that we got the italian salad bag (as we are always eating salad), a garlic ciabatta and melt in the middle puddings.

Not tucked into any of it yet, saving it for tomorrow:D
  • I got a salad, the Tuscan Sausage Bake and strawberry tarts. I'm saving it for tomorrow night. I think this weekend has had the best selection so far. :D Mind you, I did feel sorry for the older couple hunting around M&S to find the chickens! I would have told them, but some people don't like being spoken to where I live!

Agree the Beef in Chianti is lovely. Just had it for tea but have left the pudding for tomorrow.

couldnt get near the display chiller at my local M&S today, as there were lots of OAPs barricading it. but thanks to the above post listing what was on the deal, i just went around the chillers finding each item individually.

managed to get the profiteroles, which was good, as the only dessert left on the display one that the oldies were fighting over, were bowls of fruit salad lol

Why do they not have a print-out in store listing the items so you can see what should be available, as most people just accepted they could only choose from what was left on that one end of aisle chiller.

saved £7.76 on my meal deal. What are the most expensive items, as im wondering how much i could have saved?
