  • Hi I hope this isn't a stupid question but does anyone know if this offer is also available in the M&S shops that are attached to BP garages or the M&S motorway service station? These are the nearest M&S to me.
    Thanks

We've had the beef tonight too....yum yum!!

then the profiteroles...and saying that I don't normally do puddings they were scrumptious!!!!!

I got the chicken with pesto for tomorrow (or maybe saturday!)

The Tamworth store had only one choice of white wine (well...what I thought was white wine!!) with the deals and I even went around the wine aisle looking for more of a choice........ when I opened it, it was the Chardonnay ROSE!!! serves me right for not looking at the bottle properly I guess!!!

So i was disappointed with the wine (still not bad though!) ... but the food was delish!!! :D

My bro works at M&S and decided to pick up a dine in for 2 deal today, He got the Prawn Linguine, which was delish but even more scummy was the sticky toffee pudding, this is the larger sized dessert, packaged in a silver foil container with a cardboard sleeve on top as usual, there is a smaller size of this too but this was definitely the larger size and is included in the deal, his manager even tried to get him to go for the smaller one but My brother knows his stuff and knew the Larger Sticky Toffee Pudding was in the offer too, one word to describes this pudding perfectly....DIVINE

    do try it :D

Have just been down to the local M&S and bought my meal. I was told by people that work there that this offer will be on every 2 weeks.:j

Be careful with this one. Some of the items like the lasagne and the pizza are priced on the offer shelves at a higher price £5 something.

If you look on the shelves where they would normally be found they are actually cheaper, they have £1 off. But the ones in the £10 offer go through at the higher price, so not actually as big a saving as you think.

The apple crumble pack is also reduced instore.

I bought 2 deals today and was impressed with the selection available. Better (well, more expensive!) wines than last time, eg Piedmont Barbera £5.49). The king prawn linguine dish looks lovely and should cost £6.99. Tiramisu at £3.49 is another good deal. If you bought those three items mentioned plus a pack of Caesar veg (£2.99) the total would be £18.96 (plus a free 10p bag for life!) but you get them for £10 using the offer.

I knew I should have gone yesterday morning!!

After reading the posts last night about the Beef with Chianti (and this is what I was looking forward to most, after all that salmon in August) there was none on the shelves in my store today. Nor was there any Caesar Veg or Prawn Primavera Genovese.

I did end up finding the Chicken Saltimboca, so that is tonight's dinner sorted, with strawberry tarts for afters.

Many thanks to ti1980 for keeping us informed as always on the M&S food offers.

Aww, thanks for the thanks. Been really busy at work today and felt a bit stressed (not all to do with work) so it is nice to come back to this post to see your thanks. Thanks you for cheering me up a bit. :)

For whats its worth I got a Dine in offer myself yesterday to share with my flatmate and we had the Tuscan Sausage Bake which we thought was really nice. The garlic ciabatta as the side dish which was delish, the sticky toffee pudding which was the best part of the meal in my opinion but I do have a really sweet tooth. Loads of lovely toffee sauce in it. I also bought some Count on Us Vanilla Ice Cream which is half price at the moment to go with it and there was more than enough for 3 with that. Us being pigs though scoffed the lot! We got the Pinot Grigio wine but haven't had it yet as we ate quite late and both had early starts today so are saving that for Sat night.
I think there must be loads of MSEers who go to my store cos I wanted that Beef in Chianti for today and we had completely sold out of it by the time I had finished work.
