    Huge congrats Tinsel.

Boys still up messing about, finished for today and heading to bed soon.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Aw bless her, you'll be so proud and she'll be beaming at you :D Make the most of it now, in a couple of years she'll be "too cool" and wont want mummy taking pics/videos etc lol. I love watching the kids shows/assemblies etc, they are so enthusiastic at that age eh?

I am really looking forward to it... and dp is coming too so it will be extra nice! She is such a little drama queen too... High school musical and Hannah Montana are "the bomb" in my house at the moment... seriously I sing "we're all in this together" in my sleep :o

Right... I am off to pack lunch bag and swim bag for tomorrow... lets hope we get nice weather tomorrow so I can walk dd1 to school! (and try and avoid the gorgeous smell of the bakers on the way lol!) and of course shine my sink and put DW on!

Will have as think about any extras that need to go on my list and post tomorrow if dd2 decides to take a nap at anytime!

    Night night everyone...

I'm in this week. Didn't finish last week :o but got the kitchen and bathroom blitzed, so that's just a bit of daily maintenance now (that's the theory anyway ;) ) and most of DD1's room has been tidied. We're in the middle of decorating it, so there's a mountain of stuff on her bottom bunk but at least you can move in her room now, which has been impossible for the past couple of months  .

I'm going to swap the kitchen for the livingroom tomorrow though, as my kitchen's pretty clean and tidy at the moment and my livingroom is a bombsite. I would happily wait till Tuesday, but I have the health visitor coming out at 10am Tuesday morning, so I'd better get stuck into it tomorrow :D. I'm also going to have to make a start on DS's room tomorrow as his friend's coming over to play on Tuesday after nursery.

So to summerise I'm just gonna go with the flow again this week :rotfl: and do my own thing, but I will keep checking in and let you know how I'm doing. Kids finish up this week. DS on Thursday and DD on Friday, so it all needs to be done and ready for the minimal daily maintenance by then.

Hope you all have a good day tomorrow, I'm going to try not to turn the computer on until at least late afternoon ;) . Now better go and give the kitchen a quick whizz before I head off to bed. Night all

nicki loving your piccies of the lambananas. What a great activity to do, and your DD looked like she was really enjoying it too.

Oh she did love it  The pics in which she is wearing black pants she did with Ex last week, the ones in jeans she did with me and my mate yesterday (if you look you can see him in a one of the ones I'm uploading now ;) ) - there were a few moments when I wondered which one of them was the kid and then others where I wondered which one of us was DD's parent!:rotfl: He's fantastic with her and they get on great which is a relief - adult company and still able to have daft childish fun is great :D I just wish she'd shut up about him occasionally  Oh, and get it out of her head that he should move in :confused::eek::rotfl::rotfl:

    Tinsel - Congrats!!! :T:j:j

Right, I'm off to bed. Don't know what I'm doing yet tomorrow, the kitchen is looking okay except for dirty dishes - a batch of which I've already done tonight :p Thats the only problem with being out all day and then exhausted when you get home..... Night all

:rotfl: Your house sounds very similar to mine. I'm in the middle of painting DD1's room in HSM red and white colours. And Hannah Montanna's "Best of Both Worlds" is the song usually playing in my head  .

Being a drama queen helps ;) . It creates special memories for you. My DD is always very dramatic with school plays and stuff and I always remember what part she plays, what the songs were etc. Whereas DS is very shy and usually hides behind everyone else hoping that no one notices him. It's a shame coz I don't have any good photo's of him or anything. Ah well, if he's happy that's all that matters. Have fun!

Oh and good luck for the bakers tomorrow ;)

I don't know if they still do the disgusting pink drink for worms, but the Pripsen I used was in tablet form.

When we were kids, my mum was a school nurse and used to routinely give us "the pink drink" whether we had worms or not - the evil mare!

    Hi Guys

Count me in again. Hardly got the chance to post one way or another last week, time is flying so quickly.

Have been catching up with you all on the other thread and now I have another 3 pages to catch up on here!

Would sit and read now but need some food, Had half a melon when A & W had their dinner earlier and am quite hungry now. I didn't get up until almost 11am  and so have felt out of kilter time wise all day. A & W were up hours before me and when I asked why they didn't wake me to get brekkie for them A said they were fine and watching CBBC. Since we got the new TV earlier this week they have been captivated with CBBC. Been without freeview for over a year and got used to not having it, new TV has it integrated and so they have 'discovered' it again :rotfl:

Shan't be around much tomorrow as I am going to see a lady who lost her DH recently to see if I can offer help with the financial side of things. She knew my DH and our circumstances, she looks so lost atm so the moral support and a cuppa will help I hope.

Hope you all have a productive week, welcome to the newbies and hugs to everyone xx

Welcome greenmango, peaseblossom, redmadcurls, mabboo and annelouise, keeping up with the thread will take longer than the list each day

Congratulations tinselfairy on your new addition

Oh lilme your poor boys, luckily I’ve never had to deal with that one

Big hugs and hellos to everyone else.

Have been busy ALL day so shattered after my early start so hoping to slope off to my lovely clean pit (that’s only the sheets, haven’t made that much progress cleaning up that sty) as soon as poss.

DD’s already sorted her uniform so that she could watch Dr Who before bed so have only her lunch to make, S & S of the kitchen and my work gear to iron (but I might leave that to the morning)

I have to take the car into the garage tomorrow for the repairs after my bump so that will leave me £250 down but on the upside one of our loans has the last payment this month so that’s another 500 to throw at the other depts each month

I’m not going to commit to being in this week as I cant keep on top of it and then feel guilty as pigpen, and lilme before her, put so much time in putting the thread up. What I will prob do is keep a short list and just pop in and say hi when I can.

    So until then

    x
