I have managed to make rhubarb chutney today and lil_me has inspired me to make some bread later. I think I will try the rhubarb cake I attempted last year too. I have still got enough rhubarb to feed an army!
Must go and post video, it was offered on Freecycle so it feels wierd to be posting it!

Hi
I'm quite pleased with how my list is looking. I might actually get to the end of the week having finished it all, instead of getting to Sunday and thinking oh i'll do it next week now:rolleyes: . I've hoovered upstairs for the first time in about 3 weeks.
I'm really annoyed, i took the boys to this indoor soft play type thing today and Ds2 bit a little girl. I was mortified the poor little thing had a horrible mark on her arm. I gave him a rollocking then took him home i wasn't letting him play after that.I feel awful now.

Well Ive managed to get off my butt and got the upstairs done. Thats some more off my list. Done the dailies and thats about it.
Weather dreadfull its pouring down. Just like the thing as Im night shift tonight and dont think my brolly is working. Ive taken a Bank hol Tues so after night wont be back till Thursday. The assisstant manager had a bit moan but there is three of us on so might as well get them when I can.
Catch you all tomorrow.0 -
The course was fab today too. Really enjoyed it. A tiny bit of me wishes I was going to the party tonight but i've already got my PJs on, i've got a nice dinner in the oven, a bottle of wine ready to be opened and a choice of films to watch tonight so I think i've made the decision and i'll be quite a bit richer for not going.
Hugs to all who need them. I'm going to have a catch up on the thread now xx0 -
Oh vanilla that must be annoying! I went today and forgot my card, amazing how careful it made me be with limited cash on me and I came back with some. I might have to do it more often
hollyh your son isn't the first to bite another child and won't be the last, try not to feel awful, it's just something most kids do at some point, some more often than others. I am sure he'd have had his reasons.
boddy it's just started to ease off a bit here, maybe will where you are soon , hope it's a quiet night for you
I've got my eyes on some job lots of clothes on ebay, oh change that I just won them, not something I have done before buying a job lot but thinking as long as they are cheap enough anything I don't like I can stick back on. I need some 'variety' and when I go shopping I just buy big baggy black tops and trousers, DP made me buy a printed more fitted one this week and commented how much better it looked, I spent the day thinking I had something on my topkept going to flick it off. The seller has another few lots so might email saying I'll pay after the others finish tomorrow, this seller is selling more clothes than I own I think :rotfl: I feel wardrobe deprived!
Just been emailing one of my cousins, see if he wants to meet up when we're staying near where they live in August, must be 3 years since I seen them last. I'd told his sister but she's got a useless memory so always tell him aswell.
Time to update me list

Not doing too bad actually, simple dinner of quiche and salad for me later on after the boys go to bed. They've been horrible, especially DS2 who likes to be outside a lot, they're annoying the life out of each other and me, early night? One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Afternoon/evening all
It's chucking down with rain now but it was sunny and windy for a good part of the day so I got two loads of washing dried. All put away.
Otherwise I just generally tidied up and stuff. DH has gone fishing for the weekend (mad) and DD2 is going out tonight so it's just going to be me and the dog. And she's asleep0
