Morning all.
Didn't manage to get on here yesterday.
Took DD to an extra playgroup session that only meets up on the 1st Friday of each month then I was very reserved and only popped into one charity shop on the way home and bought her a lovely denim pinafore and a t-shirt for £1.75, bargain!
After lunch I did DD and DS room, apart from vac'ing them and then all their ironing. Sat down for half an hour and watched the tennis too at one point as I had a headache and needed a break.
We took DS to a quiz at his school last night and amazingly we won! :j
He was our team captain and went up to receive our prize, which was lots of chocolate. He was so thrilled to win.
Supposed to be going to a church fete this afternoon as long as it doesn't tip down.
DS is going to the cinema with a friend this morning and whilst he's out I need to whizz to Sainsburys. I now have an hour to get the house and me sorted.
Enjoy your weekend whatever you get up to....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Such a change in the weather, it looks like it has been raining all of last night, and i left clothes on the line.
Plan today is to go food shopping, do some flying and watch Dr Who, kids love it.
WM and TD reloaded again and i can nearly see the floor now:j .Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Anyone got any ideas for a small birthday gift for a 5 year old boy whose Mum says 'he doesn't need anything, he has loads of toys, he doesn't appreciate what he has, come to the party without a present' - just wanted something I could wrap up and give to him and I'll give his Mum a voucher for Boots or Smiths that she can spend on him or family
Thanks
PS still back on page 27 catching up - computer not even on yesterday, shock horror - will post to you all laterDon't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli
Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board0 -

I've had the cleaner for months and been meaning to do them for an age.. but they are done now and looking much better for it.. I don't think the fruit stains will come out of the one in the front room but they will fade over time I guess.. not to worry it is only carpet! The one in the back room had sticky patches that had gone black and shiny and gross... all gone!!
They both look so much better this morning though I am impressed.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

The failsafe in here.. a box of maltesers!!!! No added junk in them.. cheap and easy and his mum can restrict how many he has at a time.. and use them as rewards... never fails in here!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Good Morning!
Extremely pleased with myself for achieving so much around the house last week. Looks like a palace now (albeit a slightly shabby palace). For the first time in years I haven't had to hunt for the remotes or clear a space to make morning coffee.
Thanks Pigpen, and everyone else! I couldn't have done it without you.
I am glad you can see the difference it motivates you into joining again next week doesn't it? ... You are coming back next week aren't you?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
