3 hours sleep and i'm feeling alot more refreshed. Split the boys up tonight because they only mess about in the same room, so DS2 in with me and snoring like a pig.

Think i'll get up and fold all the clean clothes and put another load in WM and TD.

I've just stropped.. a few sarky digs at hubby and he is now vacuuming the landing.. I should be more respectful and remember he has had a super-easy hard day at work and not expect him to do anything at all around the house when I have been cleaning and washing carpets and mucking out bunnies and mopping and wiping and shifting furniture all day.. Gosh I am such a selfish hag!!

I have made jelly and trifle and boiled eggs and unloaded and reloaded the DW.. while he watched some trash... I never made him a cuppa!!!

Off for a stint of self-flagellation... or I may clean the bathroom.. being such a lazy cow and all!!

lil-me sorry your parents are driving you bonkers - glad you've more time than you thought with assignments..

Mudbath - maybe when you couldn't work that was the affirmation working because maybe the money's supposed to come easily with no work involved and you're just meant to take it easy?;)

davgirl - sorry for starting the rumour about your emigration.

pigpen-you deserve a medal for attempting those carpets - you could have left the blue one grey/black - who'd have known?

gnb - I recently thought I might like to go on it cos I'd love the challenges. Wouldn't much want to be on tv though...let us know if he's successful!

Thanks for all the kind wishes re DD1 birthday - she had a great day but is even more excited about the swimming/skating and sleepover tomorrow...though why it's called a sleepover when there's 3 tweenager girls involved, I'll never know! Goodnight all and don't exect any flying from me this weekend:p

Clean clothes all put into bedrooms and if them children even think about throwing them in the washing basket i'll go mad, i spend so much time cleaning clean clothes because by the time i see them there stinking of smelly socks.

Finally took down my ICS course from the wardrobe, wiped about 3 inches of dust of it:o , gonna have a look through tonight and see how much is left to do but i have no self-discipline what so ever.

Pigpen men have such an awful time of it working. I don't know how you do it looking after 10 people, the house, pets. You put me to shame a hundred times over.

Lil_me that are so testing me, they don't hear a word i say or they choose to totally ignore me.

    evening all

have just caught up on the thread as not managed to get on for a couple of days.
am glad its the weekend as i'm done in this week! fingers crossed I won't wake up at 7.30 as I usually do at the moment on weekends.

cooked my first ever full roast last night - chicken we got from M&S at the weekend. we had leftovers tonight for dinner and have made stock from the carcass so pleased with that. It cost me about £2.50 as was half price and then i had a 20% off voucher :D

I'm hungry again - all i seem to do at the moment is eat! put on weight already- must control my appetite or i'll be enormous!
hope to do a bit of flying this weekend but not too much!

also - nicki - have you looked at 02 simplicity? its a month by month thing so you're not locked in and you're not paying for the phone as its sim only. I pay £20 a month for 1000 texts and something like 500 mins.

    Morning all.

A quick stop to say hi. I really need to be redoing my budget because our waterbed has come to the end of it's much punctured life and we've had to buy a new bed. So now I have to find an extra $20 a week. Can't wait for the new bed to arrive - hopefully by the end of next week.

Oh, and I lost 2kg in my first week doing WW Core!! Well pleased with that :)

Had a text from DS2 who is about 300miles south of here - it's snowing in the city - he's loving it! The rain has started here and it's got very, very cold.

    Have done today:
    one load of washing
    watched DS4 at football
    recycling
    Library
    walked the dogs
went shopping and got two new tops at half price :)

    Still to do:
Fold yesterdays washing and hang on airer todays washing
Find that extra $20 a week
Fish and chips for dinner tonight while watching the rugby

I've been such a lazy mare (as PP would say) this week. I could have achieved so much, but didn't. Now instead of playing catch up tomorrow, I've been called in to work, so that'll teach me!

pigpen - lovely photos - congrats to both DSis and OH for their achievements! And well done on the carpets.
Nicki - You're doing so well, you are allowed to get tearful occasionally
    Davgirl1 - shame you're not a colonial too . . . LOL . . . I was starting to get quite excited there for a while!
Everyone else - hugs and congrats and commiserations as needed :)

    Good Morning!

Extremely pleased with myself for achieving so much around the house last week. Looks like a palace now (albeit a slightly shabby palace). For the first time in years I haven't had to hunt for the remotes or clear a space to make morning coffee.

Thanks Pigpen, and everyone else! I couldn't have done it without you.

Looking forward to next week and doing it all again :) Back at work on Monday, a wonderful 5am - 3pm shift, so I think that's when the challenge will really start.

Have a gorgeous weekend, one and all.
