    School run & Asda........
    • Write Ex's card (its his birthday today)
    • Take DD shopping for a pressie of some sort & a trip to the cash machine (to put money in ex's card - it is his 30th and he's in a new house otherwise I wouldn't bother.) after school and be back before 4.30
    • Grocery shop (forgot eggs on my Asda order :o )
    • Letter & CV
    • Tea for me as DD is eating out (bolognese in the freezer.....will have to see)
    • Washing
      • Dark
      • Bedding
      • Cleaning cloths (End of the day so they're done ready to be used again)
      • [STRIKE]TOWELS AS EXTRA
        [/STRIKE]
    • Outside
      • Clean brass
      • Wipe livingroom window over outside
    • Bedrooms
      • Remake my bed (DD's will be done Sunday)
Best shut this comp down, windows shut and get my bottom out to school. What the hell am I supposed to buy ex off DD for his birthday if he can't tell me what he'd like!!!

Something your DD would like - he is an an ex after all, and you are effectively giving maintenance money back :p . You are a much nicer person than me, I certainly wouldn't be doing him a card or a gift from DD, never mind from you.

Too busy weeding to post (or to clean) - believe me I sympathise Hollyh. The front is as clear as it is going to be for now, but the back is just  .

I need to have a whip round now to do the dailies before DH comes home, then make some boys with the boys seeing as we bought lots of uber cheap supercook stuff from Tesco this morning. Too hot to bother, and I need to roast the chicken I defrosted this morning when I thought it was going to be cloudy and overcast.

I have just been back to read my list from earlier and I have done one thing from it BUT I have made chutney and spent ages reading on the PC. How I have missed it!
pigpen If you don't get any joy from the teachers try a parent who is going along or a classroom assisstant. I used to look after all the ones who had fallen out with friends and always met up at designated time usually hourly in case anyone needed help. The rest of the teachers treated me like I was syupid and it was their day out!! Made me mad.

Could you volunteer to go with them as an assistant?

I had three of my own with sunstroke after a trip to Lowestoft and they weren't kept in the shade. Another time in Germany my son was left alone by all the other kids and he had to ring me back here to get help.

Highlight of my week was a trip to a farm with ds' playschool - it was good fun and ds' face when riding a pony was priceless!
Lowpoint was the row I've just had with dd's teacher. They had kept her bookbag and when I asked for it was told they were keeping them over the holidays. I requested it back quite politely but I'm afraid I got quite childish when refused  When asked why I wanted it I said because it's dd's not yours! :D

Hope you all have a good weekend

Ex is on his way .. DD is in a can't be bothered mood.
    • [strike]Write Ex's card (its his birthday today)[/strike] Also wrote a "Good luck in your new Home" card for him and his girlfriend who moved in with him last weekend with her two cats (they've been together since we split last August)
    • [strike]Take DD shopping for a pressie of some sort & a trip to the cash machine (to put money in ex's card - it is his 30th and he's in a new house otherwise I wouldn't bother.) after school and be back before 4.30[/strike] DD got him a box of Hereos, I got £20 for his card, and a bottle of Fair Trade wine as a housewarming gift.
    • [strike]Grocery shop (forgot eggs on my Asda order :o )[/strike]
    • Letter & CV
    • Tea for me as DD is eating out (bolognese in the freezer.....will have to see) Just bought a vegetable lasagne...going to copy out the ingrediants before I throw out the packaging if I like it ;)
    • Washing
      • Dark
      • Bedding
      • Cleaning cloths (End of the day so they're done ready to be used again)
      • [strike]TOWELS AS EXTRA[/strike]
    • Outside

      • Wipe livingroom window over outside
    • Bedrooms
      • Remake my bed (DD's will be done Sunday)
The split between ex and me has been a nightmare (mainly because of my behaviour - I hate his girlfriend and she hates me :rotfl:) but since they're living together now and I've got too much going on in my life without the stress of fighting with him over it all I'm trying to move on :o Hence the cards & gifts. I am REALLY trying. He's trying to help me out with something which I trust him to help me with as he knows me so well and since we used to be best friends I'm making a concerted effort to try and get on. Its hard sometimes, especially when DD gets upset cause she wants him to come back which in turn upsets me as I hate seeing her upset but its getting easier for us all. My mates helping out as well with that, he's great with DD and she's definitely taken a shine to him  :rotfl: Its also useful to rant at someone other than my family about ex - which I'm figuring they'll be grateful for too :D:rotfl::rotfl:

Right, washing to go out, and another to go in. Then while DD and Ex are out I'll either bathe or study...not sure which yet but I will be eating too so it depends on where they're going to eat  Best shift myself.
