Morning, hope everyone is having a good day. Weather is beautiful here at the moment which is a good as DH has arrived home with a suitcase of dirty clothes. £ loads of washing now out in the garden to dry.
Have been to DD school assembly this morning. She managed to remember all her words.
Apart from cooking a roast dinner and maybe a bit of ironing I'm not doing anything else.0 -
All the washing is dry, folded and put away. Back grass cut. Made some little currant cakes and they are cooking while the oven is on for dinner. It feels quite hot out today.0

DS2 has a school trip on the 21st .. they are going to pleasure Island at Cleethorpes.. I have signed the slip and paid but requested someone call me about it... of course noone called! So I rang them this morning.. why do they make me feel like a loony?? DS2 CANNOT under any circumstances be permitted to mooch about unsupervised.. he gets lost when he is out with me.. he stands no chance unsupervised!!! They made me feel really over protective and silly for calling!!.. Why do they not understand???? I don't want to tell him he can't go because they won't keep him safe because he would be devastated but I cannot let him go if they won't.. I'm going to be fretting all day anyway!! I've said I can get my sister or DS1 to go with him if they can't afford the member of staff to look after him, but I don't know if that is 'allowed'LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Afternoon all
Had a lovley time at the garden centre with a couple of friends. They replaced my raspberries which did not grow and all I spent on was 2 packets of spinach seeds (which will save money long term) and a cuppa and a teacake which at £2.55 was not too bad.
I really have to go to town now - quick list and off I go before the school run.
Pigpen - I'd have thought one of the SENCO staff would be going on a trip. Having said that I know when ours got to Thorpe Park they roam around on their own with groups of friends. I hope you get it sorted so he can go along and have a fun day.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
