Pigpen - thanks for the idea, will do. Hope the party goes well this afternoon - ours this afternoon is followed by a bbq for the adults and it is tipping it down here so hope you have some sunshine. I'm sure no-one will notice odd marks (or even big patches) on the carpet (especially not teenagers/children!!)Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Afternoon everyone.
A dull wet day here too. Have been out though shopping. I know some people might cringe but have just bought DD her xmas present. I was walking past the shop when I saw it. I know its what she would love so thought I would just get it and put it away. Been doing the same with bogof toiletries for GSs
Finding it hard to motivate myself today flying wise. Need a kick up the backside.
Tinselfairy and pigpen Hope the parties go well and weather improves.
Was thinking bout bonsibabe and dont think she has been on recently.
Will update my list later.

Good afternoon ** Coffee and tea pots both full so help yourselves, some fox's collection biscuits aswell, have those before DP gets up!!! **
boddy, however much considering Xmas makes me cringe, I have been collecting things, not bought anything specific for anyone but got vouchers from surveys, won smellies sets etc. We're over half way through the year now so I've started saving Tesco stickers aswell.
tinsel fairy well done
Hippy - usually can't go wrong with a football. Depends what he's into really, at that age my sons liked dinosaurs and Thomas (in fact most trains) Or maltesers like pigpen suggested nomnomnom and if he doesn't say thank you, you can take them back and eat them yourself!
g&b that's not bad at all for an evenings work! I'm sure you'll get back into the swing of it soon.
denise well done on the weight loss
Raining here too but the plants need it, the grass doesn't :rotfl: I was going to cut that last night and decided against it thinking I'd do it the evening, wish I had now as it's like a wilderness, all the sun then rain it's going crazy!
I need to take some tool DP got from Netto back as it doesn't work, I'll pick up the bits and pieces I need while I am there. So that means I need to do a meal plan first, which I haven't even considered yet.
Me list
Meal plan and shopping list
Shops - Netto, butchers, caravan shop for hitch cover, maybe a charity shop or 2 depending on time
Put away the bags of stuff that have been sat there since....thursday?
Clean and tidy kitchen
Make some bread (I've been lazy and not made any for weeks, emotied what was in freezer then bought it :O )
Make some cookies and brownies, again been lazy lately
Studying - reading/working on TMAone reason I am very pleased the suns gone away
Vacuum through downstairs
Darks load in DS1s school coat
Fill DW, start, empty once finished
Clean DW filter
Fold dry laundry and get it put awayOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I hope all parties and fetes go okay today.
There is one in our village but I am staying home to dog sit.
Its chucking it down here. DH is still trying to cut grass with strimmer. I am going to make him some warm lunch as it iswuite cold here. I have still not managed much of yesterday's list but I aim to try to continue.
Last night DH and I had an evening in together.
A rare occurance as we have so many kids and their friends. We'd settled down to watch a movie when dog2 started to throw up. He was sick as a dog!! Threw up about 8 times. Every time we had cleared one it up he did another so we spent evening carpet cleaning. :rotfl: :rotfl:
Then when DH went out to cut grass he finds that one of our DSs or their friends has thrown up outside in my weed bucket!!! Two have still not emerged and one has gone to work.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

All ebay parcels parcelled.. 2 reminders sent and 60 items ready for uploading on Tuesday!!
The boys are vacuuming their room
The girls are needing a slap to kick them into gear to do their room.
DD1 is brushing her hair before it gets lopped off lol.
I best write my list and get myself dressed to take her to be trimmed.. and do the shopping of course!
Hubby will be left with the hallway to clear... it is full of junk!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Afternoon all.
Just got back from taking the twins to see Kung Fu Panda. I have stuffed far too many choocies into my fat face, so need to do some flying to burn it off. Quick cuppa first though  .
It has stopped raining here at last, don't know whether to risk sticking a line full out (some pretty menacing looking clouds on the horizon).
My list for the next hour is:
De-clutter kitchen and living room
hang washing out
strip beds and bung in washer
polish living room
vac kitchen and living room
Washing up away
S&S worktops.
That'll do for startersTwins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0
