Just a quick update to say I popped over to the allotment while DD was at Brownies & we have some peas
. Oh wow, they are sweet, crisp & juicy & I love them. Strangely enough DD also loves them although I do struggle to get her to eat them cooked, she's the same with carrots & courgettes
she came home from Brownies with choclate rice krispy cakes so we've managed to have our cakey / biscuit treats without spending anything :j.
wishing everyone a lovely day tomorrow

Hi Everyone!!
Mum and I had a great whoopsie hunt:
1 Finest Farmhouse loaf 23p
2 bags of parsnips 64p each
1 cheese and onion pasty 10p
12 pack of sausage rolls 30p
2 Finest lemon yoghurts 14p each
1 Finest cookies 28p* These had today's date on so asked chap with the scanner if he could reduce them and he did from £1.99!!!
Total £ 2.47 with 2 money off coupons came down to £1. 77
Very pleased... however we are starting to recognise some of the people who come in for reductions on a Wednesday... Is that sad??
Enjoyed picking lettuce and spring onions from our garden... cucumbers in the green house are looking great too.
Hope everyone is having a good day...
(Off topic: The woman at school is being so nice now.. its freaking me out...)

Hi everyone.
Just had my tesco delivery it came in at £84.17 after I had to phone about stewing steak 3 packs which were sell by tomorrow use by day after that. I took them out the pack and where they were touching each other they had gone a funny colour. If I cut around the discoloured bits would it be ok?
Could anyone tell me when it says a cup of flour how many ounces is a cup? sorry to sound dim.2025 Decluttering 10472⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

nsd for me.
Had to go into school for the morning to meet the new Year 7. As there are so many NQT's as year 7 tutors next year, SMT want me to support both the new head of year and all the tutors. That's on top of role as KS3 Science co-ordinator. Plus, I'm only going to be part time.
I sooooo don't want my Maternity leave to end! Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j0 -
did my first shop in budget today. tesco instead of morrisons, got lots of bargains under 20p! we already have a lot of food in the freezer for dinners, but needed more snacky items & have lots of ingredients to make puddings & stuff. just over £20 spent & got nearly a trolley's worth!Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! Just remembered that I ordered a couple of bits for my mum with my tesco delivery which she will pay me for so I am £3.95 better off. Popped back to amend my totals before I loose track! Every little helps.
