Hi all
Just had my tesco delivery come and I have spent £87.62. Having totted up what I spent in 3 days at work this week it came to £6.25 which is terrible! I took some leftovers Mon/Tues but bought something to have with them and today bought breakfast and lunch .... must do better.
Pleased with my shop. What with that and what I already have in my cupboards and garage, I have a months worth of cleaning stuff, kitchen rolls, nappies, wipes, cat food and litter in at least. I also have most of the food and will just need some fresh fruit/veg in a couple of weeks and bread/milk weekly as well as loo rolls, pickled onions and tissues which I didn't get on the order (subs sent back).
Can hardly get in my cupboardsI am fairly confident I can come in on budget so long as I can curb the spending at work!

Edited to add, I also have enough wine/beer to last at least 2 months and probably 3. I am not much of a drinker these days but do like the odd glass of wine in the evening

Bounty Balls Recipe
These taste just like the brand name sweet and are very easy to make.
200g condensed milk
100g desiccated coconut
8oz icing sugar (approx)
8oz chocolate
Mix the milk and coconut together.
Add enough icing sugar to form stiff dough which will form balls.
Form small balls and leave to set on a tray until all the mixture is used.
Place the tray into a fridge to set (over night is best).
Coat the ball in melted choc and leave to set.
Setting time minimum 4hrs.

MMM, iced buns were yummy! Half with plain icing, half with cinnamon icing:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Just to add to bounty balls,
someone posted ages ago that they found this method easier. By lining a tray with greaseproof and spreading the mix into a tin leave until set (instead of rolling them out into balls). When set turn out and cut up into chunks. then cover with the chocolate.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -
