My month doesn't end till Thursday but I won't be buying anything else so I'd like to declare at £96.99. That's £3.01 under budget in a month I was positive would go over. So very pleased with that result and big thanks to all you lovely people for your advice and fine example.

My target for August remains the same - £100 for two people - not including 1 person's lunches.
    Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

Just done final shop of the month, spent £29 in Lidl, this takes me £2.07 over budget, but a lot of what was bought today will be used in August, so I'm happy with that.
Declaring at £162.07, and please put me down for £160 again for August

Hello and best wishes to everyone. Hope you're all enjoying the weather. Been away since 19th and although I have tried to read pages posted since then- will admit defeat and go straight to august now.

Welcome back Mrs Mc! and thanks to angelnikki who has been a superstar:T leading us in Mrs Mc's absence.
    I'm declaring £125 for July.
July was a unusual month as I was away for a weekend camp, a five day camp and and a seven day camp, all of my food was paid for and there was little opportunity to spend money so part of me thinks I should have been able to spend even less. However OH was at home so had to have food in FF for him.
We're both at home during August, school hols for me and OH signed off sick from work due to injury at work - apart from a week on holiday in Spain for us both so I'm going to set an acheivable target of £150 for August.

By the way- good news- OH got the job he had interview for- yippee!! :j :j :j
