Hi Angelnikki
I managed to come in under budget :j although not by as much as I'd have liked! I'd like to declare £273.58 for July, I'll be starting my August budget tomorrow so please put me down for £300.00 again for August. With the money left over this month I got the paint, so to help with the NSD's in August I can now make a start on the decorating :T
Good luck to everyone for the August GC IOIWE... hope you get sorted soon, sorry to hear your bad news, good luck job hunting honNSD Challenge 2010:Jul 12/12 ; Jun 21/14 :T; May : 6/6

Thanks to Mrs M and Nikki for keeping this site organised for us. I'lll declare my July figure on Thursday or Friday. Meantime Nikki can you please put me down for£135 for 1-31 August.
Only spent half what I expected at lunch today with old friends. Restaurant didn't have a veggie option that I liked so just had a light snack and some ciabatta (which turned out to be granary toasted!!). Also managed to keep the petrol consumption down (eaten by the car, not me!). This is good as I have another m-way trip to do on Wednesday. Fave Italian restaurant this time so I expect to pay more. Don't have a "going out/treats" budget yet, but I'm working on it.
Had a minor panic this evening. Checked bank account and saw a total for Mr A of £29.73. Couldn't think what it was for and it would have put me right over my July estimate. Then I found the receipt - for petrol - WHEW!!:rotfl:

That's more like it. It wasn't so long ago when you thought you wouldn't be able to do this SFT. That's a fantastic total so far, well done you. Its great seeing that figure growing in your signature. If you are totally sad like me I have spreadsheet too and I will add anything, even 12p interest, and love watching it grow. 12p nearer my cruise, lolBoots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000 -
Hello all,
hugs and happy thoughts to everyone,
declaring £174.05 for July which is £24.05 over budget (but most of that £24.50 was baking supplies which will last me ages!)
I'm away for a while in August so the budget will be £120 can Ideclare it here or do I need to hop onto the August thread?
Cheers,

Also are you doing other MSE challenges to support it? I'm also taking part in the sealed pot challenge.

I was wondering what to do with some plums i had going off and a big thanks :T to moniker's recipe page 113 plum cheese ( jam) . Me, who's not a great cook had a go at it and it's great on toast. I didn't have a pressure cooker either and the recipe still worked a treat for me.0

Just popping in to declare an end of month total of £158.85, not good against a target of £130. I'm trying to eat more healthily which means I'm buying more fruit and different types of fruit as well, and it all adds up. Cost of living increases are also starting to bite too!
Think I might need to up my target for August too...will go off and have a think about it.0 -
hi all, 3 squillion pages to catch up on , went off on an last minute unexpected camping trip to france for two weeks. paid for out of the money i have saved over the last few months grocery money. Very tight but we did it. took loads of stuff out of my cupboards (coffee , tea, tins etc) did a huge batch bake the night before we went to take with us , pack up for the journey etc and took the rest of julys grocery budget. Weather great so we didnt need to spend much. Even manage a coup[le of meals out. Not bad to say we didnt think we would be going at all.... thanks for everyones help.
