Theatre, concert & events tickets

So I've been looking at tickets for this play, for two people, both parts in the same day but there clearly seems to be some sort of foul play here. 1) The Friday 40 is a farse. Are they seriously telling me that more than 40 people booked tickets for the date I was looking at AND they managed to get chosen instead of me,…

Hi all, I had tickets to see Lady Gaga in Hamburg on 29th September but the European tour was postponed until next year. We were offered the choice of rescheduled tickets or a refund. As I don't live in Germany and can't afford to make another trip over there I requested a refund straight away. (I couldn't cancel my hotel…

Have been given a gift card but trying to use it for theatre events is a nightmare. Being in our seventies we prefer matinees but there are very few at that time and often at destinations far far away from our Norfolk location. Majority of theatres are listed as Ticketmaster theatre or 𝚙artner which can’t be used with a…

We were due to attend a concert in Liverpool in December. Yesterday I received an email advising of a refund to my PayPal account and then later on, an email from the agent I booked through advising that the show was cancelled (no reason given). The refund amount didn't match the amount I paid in total and when I enquired,…

I purchased two weekend tickets for Hope and Glory festival in Liverpool on my credit card. Tickets were £89 each from Eventbrite. The Saturday was a disaster. No stage times announced until last minute. massive queues meant that all acts were delayed by two hours and some even cancelled. A lot of sets were shortened to…

Following the Manchester bombing earlier this year several concerts have been cancelled. All tickets purchesed for the show at the Manchester Arena were cancelled and new…

This week's MoneySaver who wants advice asks... A friend kindly bought me vouchers to use on a pair of theatre tickets for my birthday, to go with her. I know there's a particular play she really wants to see. However I've seen it and hated it - should I just suck it up and take her? If you haven’t already, join the forum…

Hi all Anyone know if there are any free tickets again this year for Manchester's Ideal Home in June? Many thanks

Never used the site before and have read some of the negative reviews but they all seem to be for tickets that are being sold on for a profit for shows that are sold out. I'm looking to buy 2 tickets for Harry Potter in concert in Liverpool. £112 from the official site, but somebody is selling at half price on getmein but…
