my daughter only applied about 3 weeks ago for this after having interview and getting place,does anyone know how long it normally takes them to sort out,she starts 2nd oct,they got the form as they returned birth certificate etc

Science degrees and buying text books
I just wonder if it was the same in the sciences as it is in the Arts where you have to buy a 30-40 text book for each module? That is the one great problem there is in most courses written in the Arts that the set texts you need to buy are too expensive for a lot of students to afford.

Student debt prevents emmigration?
Does my student debt count as a debt to prevent emmigrating to Australia? I know outstanding debts effects the point system but does the SLC debt count? What about other counties? In general the SLC debt is a bit unclear as sometimes it's considered debt and sometimes it isn't.
