Holiday pay
Hello I have been at a company since May last year and don’t think I’ve been paid any holiday pay. I’m on a term time contract - May to July I did 15.5 hours a week for 8 weeks (1 of which is a holiday so effectively 7). Total hours - 108.5 contracted. September to October I have done 21 hours over 5 days for 20 weeks of…

How is holiday pay calculated in redundancy
Hello, The prospect of redundancy is once again upon us, last time this was possible was end of last year but I just wondered how the holiday pay would be calculated at the beginning of the year, we are given 20 paid holiday days a year, would that mean 1.5 days a month? Thanks

Voluntary redundancies...
I am just trying to find out if anyone knows the criteria in selecting people for voluntary redundancies (if too many people apply for the redundancies offered). They have offered two Voluntary Severance positions here. 3 of us have gone for them. I don't know what the criteria is apart from skills and cost to business.…

Contract end date and redundancy entitlement
It looks like my job is being made redundant and a new structure introduced. The date for the new structure is just short of my anniversary date so I lose out on a years worth of redundancy entitlement with the planned exit date for those leaving. However it now looks as if they plan to serve notice only four weeks before…

Hi, There are seven people at my level in the company, each with a different job and different job description.
