    If there ae still 10 jobs there is no question of redundancy because it is jobs which are made redundant, not people. Generally, if staff are moved to a lower grade job due to restructuring, they would retain their previous pay but then not get any pay rises until/unless the payscale for their new job catches up.
    The only way to know for certain if that will apply in the situation above is to ask the question of management.
