Paddling pool? For dogs?
Need a paddling pool for dogs this summer. Any recommendations, it's for two German shepherds, I don't know whether to go for folding ones or rigid or sandpit like. Happy to have two, there is enough room in garden for two but they often share things like toys so maybe a really large one. Storage not a big problem either…

Cyprus Pride House
Has anybody had any dealings with these people? What they do seems too good to be true - rescuing animals in Cyprus and re-homing them in the UK for just £100. The usual advice is don't part with money until you have seen the pet but this may be the exception that proves the rule? They have a web and facebook presence…

Cat Alarm
We rehomed a cat last year from a friend of a friend. He is a lovely lovely boy, so affectionate and with such a great personality. He came to us from a house that used to let him in all the bedrooms, on all the beds, eating off the kitchen side etc etc, and personally we haven't wanted that. With my previous cats I…

Is pet insurance worth it?
Hello I have a dog, min-pin, and it is my first puppy. I never had a dog as a child. I wondered whether or not it is worth getting pet insurance or simply saving the monthly premium in a separate savings account instead. Has anyone done this and is it likely to cover the costs? Rabbit hutch difficulties
My rabbit's hutch was bought from a pet shop less than 3 years ago. Most of the wood is tongue and groove, but the back is just plywood or something, and it always leaks, despite regular ronseal applications. The roof has felt which also leaks and both are now rotting. I've been trying to find a good quality hutch but it's…

Gitdog’s Guide to (almost) being a Gold Good Citizen.
1. Road walk at different paces – prat around until mum sneaks a treat into her hand when the assessor isn’t looking. Perform the exercise impeccably. Wait until the assessors back is turned then go into a full scale bullie run on the end of the lead, complete with spins and twirls. As this would be an instant fail, stop…
