Making chews
Is there a way to make hard chews for a dog. Mine chew them for hours, as they are little dogs, and keeps them busy when I need to get something done. But, I don't think they are very good for goods and they certainly are cheap. Is there a cheap way to make something like them that is also better for the dog?

Help identify this dog
Hi there a friend of mine has asked me if I know what type of dog this is that's featured in this French music video. I just said it was a husky as that's all I know. I wonder if anyone knows the exact type of husky (if it is a husky)! Thanks in advance! http://en.musicplayon.com/play-touch?v=550765 :)

Taming of a feral cat
I rescued a 5 yr old former feral cat in March of last year, she had been with a foster home for about 2 months and been "tamed" & had all vet treatments done. The night I got her she freaked out so on advice from the rescue I crated her for a while until she got used to me. I was able to pet her in the crate and she…

Insurance prior to neutering?
I'm in the process of adopting a cat and he'll be with me tomorrow. He has had his kitten jabs but needs boosters soon, worming next week and hasn't yet been neutered. I'm looking into insurance but they are asking if he's been neutered/wormed etc. He hasn't and that pushes the insurance price up. But he'll be neutered…

Dog Fouling Fine
My elderly mum was out walking her dog and stopped to chat to a friend in a park. Unbeknownst to her, the dog did a poo without her noticing. She was then approached by two dog wardens and issued a fixed penalty of £80. I think this is outrageous. Firstly it's WAY too steep. Secondly, as she didn't notice, she offered to…

Paddling pool? For dogs?
Need a paddling pool for dogs this summer. Any recommendations, it's for two German shepherds, I don't know whether to go for folding ones or rigid or sandpit like. Happy to have two, there is enough room in garden for two but they often share things like toys so maybe a really large one. Storage not a big problem either…

Cyprus Pride House
Has anybody had any dealings with these people? What they do seems too good to be true - rescuing animals in Cyprus and re-homing them in the UK for just £100. The usual advice is don't part with money until you have seen the pet but this may be the exception that proves the rule? They have a web and facebook presence…

Cat Alarm
We rehomed a cat last year from a friend of a friend. He is a lovely lovely boy, so affectionate and with such a great personality. He came to us from a house that used to let him in all the bedrooms, on all the beds, eating off the kitchen side etc etc, and personally we haven't wanted that. With my previous cats I…

Is pet insurance worth it?
Hello I have a dog, min-pin, and it is my first puppy. I never had a dog as a child. I wondered whether or not it is worth getting pet insurance or simply saving the monthly premium in a separate savings account instead. Has anyone done this and is it likely to cover the costs? Official MoneySavingExpert Insert April 16:…
