Just a quickie - can you put Kongs through the dishwasher?

Another option is to handwash using a bottle brush. If they're quite dirty (e.g. dogs dumped them outside and I forgot about them for a while - I have about 8 Kongs so easy to miss one or two!) I have the largest size, and find that cutting the top off a soda bottle leaves me with the perfect size for putting one or two Kongs in to soak without gunking up the size - I add a bit of washing up liquid and hot water, and leave for a few hours. A swish around with a bottle brush, and they're sorted.

Top-rack dishwasher safe according to their website. But not sure I'd want to be putting dog stuff in with our own dishes, given the kind of places dogs stick their noses/mouths.

Dishwashers should be running hot enough to kill bacteria, and as long as it's coming out clean, I wouldn't worry about it.

I handwash the real grimy Kongs (in Summer it can be easy for the dogs to miss a bit of food and leave it outside - by the end of the day you can end up with fly eggs etc. and that I'd handwash), but the rest I'd happily sling in the dishwasher.
