Mercedes A Class - comments B4 I buy, Please?
Do you own or have experience of driving a Mercedes A class (baby merc)? I am disabled and looking for an automatic with cruise control and high seating position. The baby merc fits the bill, but it is pricey, even second hand, so I don't want to make an expensive mistake. This car is probably going to have to come to the…

Motorlink UK/Motorsearch UK
Don't know whether this is the best place to put this but just wondered if anyone had had any dealings with car advertising companies like Motorsearch UK or Motorlink UK. If you have ever advertised your car for private sale (in Auto Trader for example) you will have had numerous calls from them, saying they have 'five…

Company Car Scheme
My husband's company is changing its company car scheme so that instead of receiving a car, he is given £4,500 each year (which I guess is taxed) in order to sort out his own 'company' car. Does anyone have any experience of this way of doing things and what is the best way to go. That £4,500 has to pay for everything,…

Air conditining - Renault Scenic
I was interested in the thread on air conditioning. I'm supposed to have changed the pollen filter on my four year old Scenic but the parts shops don't seem to stock one and I suspect the official Renault one will be very expensive. No obvious way of changing it, has any Scenic owner found out how to do it yet?

Car air conditioning service
Quick - get your car's air conditioning checked out and topped up with refrigerant gas if necessary. Significant price increases are on the way, if they haven't arrived already. Once a bit of warm weather arrives in the UK, supplies of refrigerant gas are likely to be under pressure, if you'll forgive the pun. Nearly all…

Fuel Economy
I'm a company car driver who does about 40k miles per year and as a consequence don't really pay much attention to the price of petrol or how much of it i use. However, I was talking to a good friend of mine over the weekend who drives a diesel car. He has found that he gets an extra 5-6 mpg when he buys fuel from a BP or…
