I want to buy some thermal curtains for winter - the thicker, blackout kind. Which shops sell the best value curtains? My windows are not standard dimensions so any thoughts on shops which have good value non-standard measurements would be fab. Thanks! Z

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, I couldn't find anything appropriate. Can anyone explain why the cost of an item on a manufacturer's website is often more than buying the same item from a 3rd Party company? You would think it couldn't be any cheaper than the manufacturer can make it.

Have narrowed down my choice of dishwasher to a Bosch or a Miele. Looking at reliability, longevity, robustness together with good washing/drying but no fancy features, can anyone share their experiences?
