I wanna buy ... :)

I need to buy a computer chair or an office chair for a larger person, weighing 16 stone but I am having trouble finding ones that state weight limits on them.

It's false economy to buy cheap ones as wheels break off, arms break and then in the latest one, the legs that branch out .. one of them has snapped in half, and three wheels have come off

It needs to be able to stand been sat on and used for at least 14 hours a day.

Any ideas of where to buy one from ?

Thank you

John Lewis - most of their chairs show maximum user weight/maximum hours per day usage. They sell Boss chairs, which are great - e.g. https://www.johnlewis.com/boss-design-app-aluminium-office-chair/p592398?colour=Dew

Important that the intended user tries the chair before buying, as comfort is a very personal thing, especially for heavier individuals.

Not sure how they work on the weight front but I can vouch for Ikea computer chairs lasting a long time. I almost live in mine when I am at home. If I'm not sitting in it, it's because I've given it up for a visitor or because I'm in another room cooking or sleeping. I think mine was around £50 about 2 years ago.
Though I'm not 16 stone I do use the chair most of the time, lean too much on one side (arm rest) and it still looks and feels fine to me. Obviously not as pristine as when it arrived but is far from scruffy.

Depends on how much you want to pay, after several cheap chairs with imitation leather that pealed of cracked I bought a leather faced 'Catania' chair two years ago which is still in good condition despite a lot of daily use from this company, their heavy duty chairs are rated up to 27 stone and for continuous 24 hours use.
