netbook recommendations

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a netbook. I travel a lot so need something small, robust and at a reasonable price. Any recommendations?

I generally use it for emails, downloading and/or watching TV and movies (BBC iplayer, Netflix etc), Skype etc. Nothing too demanding.

Would prefer something with plenty of storage but would consider using a separate hard drive.

probably get a 10" tablet or 2 in 1 laptop?

i can't comment on durability. Things are not build to last these day.
Personally would get something with 4GB RAM and 64GB SSD.
Then you get HDD for storage

The netbook standard was dropped back in what, 2012 - maybe you should look for a less obsolete device..?

We've got a Windows 10 cloudbook with 2gb ram and 32gb SDD - it hasn't been a great success because Windows has used up practically all the disk. So minimum you need something with better spec than that. I've never had one, but maybe a Chromebook would be worth looking into?
