7ft pre-lit Christmas tree
Last January we freecycled our perfectly good Christmas tree and it went to a good home. We got fed up having several sets of lights to plug in and decided that this year we would buy a pre-lit but I can't find any that I like that don't cost an arm and a leg. Anyone recommend a good one?

100 night trial
Mattresses: Tempur, Casper, Simba, Eve... Is it really a trial? Or a case they'll do anything they can to make you keep the stupid think even if it breaks your back? I'm looking for a new mattress, but I really want to try before I buy. These "100 night offers" sound low-risk, but I am a tad sceptical.

Cheap Slime Ingredients or Powders?
My kids are into making slime and recently bought a set which had sachets of powder that you add water to to make slime. The set was quite expensive as it had other stuff in. I’d just like to buy some cheap slime powder if it exists but can’t seem to see any low priced stuff? Has anyone seen any? Or cheap versions of the…

Sound Bar Under £100?
Hi, I'm looking for recommendations for a decent sound bar for under £100. I'm obviously not looking for home cinema levels of quality here, just something which will be a good all rounder for music, films and not bury voices. Preferably no subwoofer either. Thanks

Very firm pillow
NOT memory foam (makes me hot). I have tried two different pillows for neck/shoulder pain - both worked in that respect but they make my head so hot I have to look for an alternative. Any recommendations please?

How to haggle on certain goods/services? (sorry, long-ish post!)?
OK, so I've got three situations here; one involves me, the other involves a friend. I'm looking at getting some garden stuff from B&Q (equipment like lighting, Christmassy stuff etc.) even though it's the wrong time of year for gardening, and am looking to haggle on certain items I like. I'm not good at haggling, is it…

Reflex or Memory Foam
for slatted adjustable bed? Is it worth paying the extra for memory foam? I like a fairly firm mattress and the price difference is quite substantial, so although I don't want to pay more than is necessary I'll stretch to it if the benefits outweigh the savings. TIA

Anyway I know you can buy some fabulous rc bits of kit, he doesn't know they exist so I want to surprise him with one for Christmas. The problem is I don't really know what I'm…

Thicker socks
It seems hard to find thicker socks that are cotton- or wool-rich these days. Always used to buy M&S cotton crew socks which were ideal, but now they seem to sell the same thin nasty ones as everywhere else. Not looking for hiking sock thickness, more sport sock thickness but in basic black or navy. Any suggestions please?

Hello, Long time lurker, first time poster here. We are looking for two wardrobes in our home. Bedroom one has an alcove 238cm high and about 250cm wide. Courier to NI from England warehouse
Hi all! I live in Northern Ireland and have been looking at furniture items that do not ship directly to NI. However most of the companies say we can arrange our own courier to collect from their warehouse. So I was wondering if anyone had done this in the past, and which courier you used? Many thanks!
