Ordering free fabric samples from Next?
As title suggests, I'm in the process of choosing a sofa from Next, who offer free fabric samples, like most other furnishing companies do. I've been trying to order 2 of these samples, but unlike most other companies, Next for some reason will not let you go through checkout without card details (and also age!!??) I tried…

How can I pay touchless using my phone?
Hi! How can I pay touching my phone instead of my debit card? Is it always compatible? Is there any fee? Is it secure? I tried to install Google Pay but it says it needs to update Google Play and after doing so it doesn't move on. What's the best alternative? Or Google Pay is the best? Thanks! Btw I use halifax visa.

Travel heater for cuppa
Can anyone recommend a plug in water heater that stands in cup of water to make tea/coffee in Spain etc? I have one which I bought many years ago and which I have lent to someone last week to take on plane as hand luggage. Seems you can only take a travel kettle if it goes into the hold, which she wasn't using. She has…

Investing in an expensive pen?
Hey guys! I was wondering if I should invest in an expensive pen. Why I name it 'invest' and not 'spend'? -Well, I'm talking about a Montblanc pen. On the one hand, it is not necessary to own or buy such an expensive pen but on the other hand, it looks very classy. Even though we live in 2018, it is still a status symbol,…

Toaster with bread sized slots
I'm sure that it's been asked before, but I can't find a relevant thread. My toaster has given up. It's not worth fixing, and like most toasters, you couldn't put a full sized slice of bread in it properly. I've decided that my next toaster is to be one that fits a standard sized piece of bread in it (Warburton's Toastie…

Adult Kick Scooter recommendations?
I'm thinking of getting an adult scooter (push along) for the school run so we can all scoot together. Obviously, the main brands are super expensive, while no name brands are really cheap on sites like Amazon. So I'm not sure which one to get. I tried a £60 and a £130 one from the same brand - Oxelo - in my local…

Is it safe to order furniture from House of Fraser ?
There are some VERY good deals on furniture at House of Fraser. But with everything that's going on in the news in the last couple of days, is it safe to order, say, sofa's from there which may take a few weeks to arrive? I will pay on credit card for added safety. But what if they go belly-up before my goods arrive?
