I am sure there are fakes about, so would go straight to Hermes. More concerned with it been seen as ostentatious . Guess that is what coffeehound was alluding to.

Sorry, I wasn’t intending to comment on the ties, I just don’t like Americanisms where we already have a UK English word for something. From a quick google the ties look great.

Thank you twice.
Firstly, for correcting my English even if I'm not entirely sure which bit was the Americanism as it all comes up in English dictionaries.

Secondly, for confirming my thoughts. It cant be considered ostentatious as the vast majority of the population wouldn't know what they were looking at and the few that do ,would appreciate the quality.
