Cocktail making classes - Hen do, London
Hi, I'm planning a hen do for my best friend in London on the Bank Holiday Monday in August. Most of the day will involve food - tea party and dinner, but I need some sort of activity for late afternoon and early evening. I thought cocktail classes might be a good idea. Does anyone know anywhere in London that offers this…

People having sweet buffets
We were out today and notice some jars that would be really good for our sweet buffet table in B&M bargains. There are big one 2 for £3 or £1.99 each and small ones 2 for £150 or 99p each. They have lovely colourful lids :) Also is anyone having any luck finding cheap scoops and tongs all the ones I find are too expensive…

Where to sell on an unwanted Wedding Ring?
Bought a ring for my wife-to-be, she indicated she liked it so bought it for her as a surprise, she has gone a little mad as it was expensive and more than she would like to pay for a ring, money could be spent better elsewhere (apparently flowers & wine :P) I have tried on eBay for the last 4 weeks or so, but not had any…

Can you find this candle holder anywhere?
I really like this candle holder (was considering having it as the table centrepiece, maybe with some long stalks of something up the middle), but I don't know where to get it from, I couldn't find it using google images. Any ideas, my Mum said you could get them fromt the Range, has anyone else seen them there or…

Everything is planned for our may 2011 wedding apart from entertainment and flowers (which i posted about yesterday!). A friend of ours is a stand up comedian so he's going to do a short set which i'm really pleased about as its something different and will be personal to us! But i'm stuck for music! Our venue offers a dj…

I'm off!!
... to Gibraltar to prepare for my dd's wedding next week!!!! I now have two very full and heavy (!) suitcases, 1 hand luggage bag full of silk flowers and an abiding memory of a very petite lady in the bridal salon on her knees struggling to fit the dress in a travel box and just about succeeding in not falling in as…

Don't know what to do!
Ok, so the date has been set, and the initial plans put in place (I know I know, I haven't shared them with you all yet but still can't!). Last night H2B and I were talking about the wedding and started a guest list. I originally only wanted 40 people during the day including children, but even with the most basic of guest…

Debenhams price increase
I'm gutted, I found beautiful bridesmaid dresses in Debenhams and now they've strangely gone up in price. I need two and as they are £150 (very non MSE) I was waiting and saving up a bit. Now sometime since Sat they've jumped to £160. It's not fair :( Anyone think perhaps they are getting ready for a 20% off everything day?

Getting married after being together for ages
I’ve been with my boyfriend for 8 years, I’m 30 and he’s 31. We’ve always talked about getting married, what our wedding would be like, where we want it, who we want there, what kind of outfits etc etc. So whilst I’ve always expected that we’ll get married, I don't think we've really thought much about the marriage…

Hi ladies, i could do with a bit of help...
I've just joined MSE today and i've seen loads of helpful tips already! But i wonder if any of you have had/are having an artificial bouquet and can recommend a company or a seller? The one's i've seen are either ridiculously overpriced (£100 for a small foam rose posy anyone?!) or look really cheap and tacky! I really…
