Is it a love song or break up song?

Both OH & I really like the song, but we're not sure how people would take it as our first song

I wasn't sure to be honest and couldn't remember all the lyrics, so I googled them and I'd say most definitely it is NOT a break up song!

The bit in bold is wondering about what would happen and, not talking about what has happened.

I checked the lyrics as I think that they're very borderline.

I decided it was a break-up song because in my head it sounds like she's begging him to stay. But I wouldn't think it's a weird choice.
