Windows Live Essentials update
My new laptop keeps trying to install/update this Live Essentials Update as part of the regular upgrades. Do I really need this?....its purely a work computer, can i switch it off so it stops asking me?

I am taking the 30-day free trial offered by Go2meeting. After the trial it is very expensive, £30 monthly whether I use it or not. Anyone know a similar application that is cheaper or free? I tried LiveMeeting which is 12 p/min but it does not allow editing online, just sharing. thanks

HP laptop -" Mottled"screen
I bought a new HP G56-130SA laptop a few weeks ago. I noticed tonight that the top inch of the screen has a mottled effect - a bit like tie-dye! I am not sure what is causing this and if it will spread to the main part of the screen which is ok just now. Any experience of this? Any advice? Thanks.
