problems with shockwaves crashing??

hiya x
hope someone can help x
shockwaves keeps crashing on my laptop x windows vista x
have tried downloading again and again x nothing seems to be happening?
also running very slow x ;(

    If you're talking about shockwave not working in Google Chrome, its a "feature" that has been introduced in a recent Chrome update. The answer? Ditch Chrome until Google fixes it.

    It's a known problem with Chrome and Shockwave, a lot of people have run into this over the last few days. If you update Chrome (click the spanner and then "about chrome") and Shockwave (from here) it should start working again.
