Ipad and iplayer app

Bought an ipad last week (£329) primarily so I could get a daily paper every day (The Times free first 30 days then £1 for next 30 and then £2 per week) and no clutter at the end of the month. Alas my other plan to use the new iplayer app on the ipad has failed miserably, just tries to load the programme and then posts fail. Do I need to change settings or something. Iplayer works fine through the browser. Any thoughts?

Try closing the app in the background, or if that doesn't work then try re-installing the app.
What version of iOS do you have? The latest is 4.3, it might be worth updating to that as well.

Download press reader. This downloads the exact copy of the paper you would purchase from the newsagents, you can set it to automatically download. You can also set it to download all the supplements. Allows you to print vouchers in paper version.0

Hmm interesting. Does this include The Times, and what would a daily issue cost?
dodo, I too am planning to subscribe to the times app. iPlayer seems to be fine on my iPadI try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -

Try reinstalling. I'm a newbie iPad user and iplayer is working great for me zero problems.0
