House vibrating from heavy traffic!
Not sure where to post this...I have lived near a busy road for 10 years now but the use of heavy traffic has increased, so much so that certain vehicles are causing the house to shake - especially in the small hours when lorries use the road either fully ladened or traveling too fast. I can actually feel my bed shaking…

Help with Sata Drive Install
Hi I've run into a problem and I guess I need help. I have a Dell machine and have 2 SATA drives already installed. I purchased a SATA2 drive 500gb and have bought a SATA controller card. I have left jumper on drive as I know I need to as I'm only going to get SATA rather than SATA 2. This is as Seagate suggest. The…

McAFee Personal Firewall hanging(not responding)
Just installed McAFee Personal Firewall from AOL (free to broadband customers) as I thought Windows firewall is perhaps not good enough. Installation seemed to go ok. Will bbc/itv set-top box work with sky dish
Does anyone know if, when bbc and itv launch their freesat system, I'll be able to simply buy a box from a high street store and plug it in to an existing sky dish? Will this work? Reason I ask is that I've just moved in to a new house where freeview doesn't work. I'm thinking of subscribing to sky for a year, and then…

Sky subscription becomes freesat after a year?
Hi Can anyone conform for me whether, if I subscribe to Sky for a year, then once that year is up I can keep the system and it will revert to a freesat set-up? Free sat set-up is about £150 so I'm told. But a year's subscription is only £15.00 a month, and through quidco I'd get another £50 cashback. Plus all teh extra…
