Wave Adjuster?
I've tried adjusting WAVE in volume control and i get sound back but when one mp3 file finishes the WAVE goes back down to zero automatically, so have to return to volume control WAVE and re-adjust and sound is back but only for one file again. Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?

Start up
I was closing my computer and clicked on the start menu, and was surprised to see I could not do it, they have all disappeared except for "office". I could not even access the shut down menu, so that to turn the computer off manually. Can anybody shed some light on this for me please. It is now back to normal. Thanks

Just got a new computer and tried to play a DVD. Opened up Windows Media Player and got the following message; Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer. What do I need to do to watch the DVD? I am using Windows XP Home Edition

Sound has gone off on my computer!
I have lost all sound on my computer. I don't know if i have done something to make this happen. I can't get anything on media player at all, but surfing the net last week some music came through on a website i was visiting. Pentium M Vs Centrino

Change Homepage
Hello again Im looking for some help, Im trying to change my homepage. This is what happens Tools, Internet Options, General, then in the Homepage type in new address but nothing is highlighted ie Use Current, Use Default, Use Blank. I cant change anything.
