might seem silly question but i want to be sure that the monitor i buy can work as tv and for pc
would all tft monitors have this capabilty,i am going to connect thru using video sender or will i have to buy lcd tv

Standard TFT monitors are designed to connect to a PC only.
You can buy small add-on boxes (£40 ish) that will allow connection of games consoles to a normal monitor, but obviously don't include a TV tuner.
Probably better to consider a TFT TV, the price on them has come down considerably in the last few months.0
