Student grant over paid and rempayment being requested.
Hi My son finished uni this year, today we received a letter that he was over paid a grant of £3000 and demanding repayment now for this money whcih he doesn't have.I was unemployed 2009 and we assumed the additional grant was for this as the family income was done from the previous year. NHS Bursary Question
When working out your entitlement to this is 'rent' paid by your partner seen as an expense? I think it is but am not 100% sure as ours is £5k per year it makes a big difference to what we would get.
